Overall: If any one is getting an average rank in JEE Mains it is the best college for core branches. In terms of placements it is an overall good college due its location in Jharkhand

Placement: Its a very good college in terms of placement in core branches. Here the average and highest package of last year i.e. 2024 is 7.4 LPA and 15 LPA (Abroad) or 13.95 LPA (Domestic) . In this year 100% students of Metallurgy and Materials students are placed. Here companies like JSW, VEDANTA, CRESENT FOUNDRY, NBC BEARINGS, TATA STEEL LIMITED, HITACHI etc come for recruitment. First batch of Computer Engineering has not passed so for this department data is not available.

Infrastructure: There is an admistrative building situated in the center of campus. In the opposite side of admistrative building there is facultg building where students can ask doubts etc. There is a multi-purpose building in which bank and post office is situated. There is also a well equiped gym for students. There are 4 hostels in the campus 3 for boys and 1 for girls.

Faculty: There are 5 departments in the college. Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (HOD Dr. Ghanshyam Das). Manufacturing Engineering (HOD Dr. G Rajamohan). Foundry and Forge Technology (HOD prof. Manoj Kumar). Electronics and Computer Engineering (HOD Dr. Madhu Kumari). Applied Sciences and Humanities (HOD prof. Anil Kumar). Director of this college prof. Partha Protim Chottopadhyay.

Hostel: There are five hostels in the campus. Three hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. For first year students there is HJB Hostel which is very well maintained. For second and third year students there is JCB Hostel. For Final year students there is MV Hostel. For ADC and M.Tech students there is Nirala Hostel. And for girls there is KCC Hostel. In each and every hostel there are caretakers for take care of students.

Overall: Placement - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ As it have 100 % placement rate in core branch with average of 9.6 lpa Mess -⭐⭐⭐ Sometimes mess food are very bad. Infrastructure -⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its campus area is of 67 acre which is very small compared to other government college but it is well maintained and it is located in hatia market

Placement: In 2024 , in metallurgy and mechanical branch 50 plus students get placement of 9.6 lpa by jsw and highest placement was 15 lpa by vedanta . And one student of 3 Rd year get PPO of 18 lpa. As this college have 100% placement rate in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering branch. And it's average package range btw 9-10 lpa which is quite good compared to many nit regarding this branch.

Infrastructure: The campus is small but well maintained it has all the machineries as required for metallurgy and materials engineering it has well maintained Library and auditorium. It is best in foundry and forge as it is 1st institute of Asia dedicated to foundry and forge. It has only 1 big playground for football, cricket,and other game.

Faculty: In this college faculty is in top- notch .The professor and our senior are very supportive. They will support you if you are preparing for any outer exam such as GATE as this college give many best rankers in GATE exam such as rank 1,3,5,7 and many more.

Hostel: There are four hostel for boys and 1 hostel for girls and two hostel are in under-construction. The four hostel for boys are separate for each year student and each hostel have its common room which includes table tennis,a tv ,and a carrom. Each hostel have its own badminton and volleyball ground. Hostel caretaker is also very supportive.
