For UG and PG programmes, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) announced NIFT 2023 Round 1 Seat Allotment on June 1, 2023. The seat acceptance fee must be paid by June 6, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology begins the registration for NIFT counselling, choice filling and locking process online on April 28. Candidates can do their NIFT 2023 counselling registration by May 8, 2023 by paying a one-time registration fee of Rs 5,000.

Interested candidates who apply to the National Institute of Fashion Technology are shortlisted based on their performance in the NIFT entrance exam, which comprises a Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Group Discussion (GD), and a Personal Interview (PI). All the candidates are also requested to fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying to NIFT, Bengaluru, and be a part of the counselling session. The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru cut-off for the year 2022 will be released soon via online mode. Depending on the NIFT cut-off of 2022, the minimum rank is determined by the admission cell for the admission of B. Des, MFM, M. Des, M. F. Tech, and B. F. Tech and the candidates are free to choose around the NIFT 17 campuses around the country. Once the NIFT cut-off 2022 is out, candidates learn the rank they require for enrollment in various programs.
All the candidates who wish to apply to the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru are required to appear for the NIFT entrance exam. The placement schedule for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Bengaluru for 2022 has been revealed. The National Institute of Fashion Technology in Bengaluru does not have a boys' hostel. Only the first year of the course is offered with hostel accommodations.
