NIFT Chennai B.Des. in Textile Design Eligibility Criteria
To pursue a Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) degree at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai, aspiring candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants should have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. Additionally, they must have studied any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) during their 10+2 education. The age limit for general category students is 23 years, while for reserved category candidates, it is relaxed by five years. Aspiring candidates are also required to appear for the NIFT entrance exam, followed by a situation test and personal interview, to secure admission into the B.Des. program at NIFT, Chennai.
