Parul University B.Des in Building & Infrastructure - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Parul University must be on your list if you are interested in studying design after receiving your high school diploma. I can wholeheartedly recommend Parul University as a current student doing a B.Des in product design there. Yes, since there are a limited number of seats, admission to this course can be very competitive. Candidates must apply for the PID-DAT exam conducted by Parul University in order to enrol in this programme.

Placement: If you study B.Des from an average college, placements can be hard to get. But, that’s not the case here. Some of the top recruiters were amzon.com, Anchor Electricals, Asian Paints, CapGemini, and Cipla. We also get paid internship opportunities here.

Infrastructure: The School of Design at Parul University has all facilities that a design school requires. In fact, this is one of the few schools to have a Rapid Prototyping Lab. We also have several other labs and design studios. The classrooms are fully equipped with smart boards and projection facilities. We enjoy air-conditioned classrooms. There is also a library at our school.

Faculty: At Parul University there are many faculty members. We get to learn about all kinds of emerging technologies. They really support us to hone our skills. Moreover, they inspire us to become successful professionals in the modern design industry.

Hostel: Though I don’t reside in a hostel, we have a girls hostel with all basic amenities. Some of my friends stay there and I have also visited the hostel a few times. The hostel is fully air-conditioned. There are all types of rooms at the hostel, including two-bedded, three-bedded, and four-bedded, six bedded rooms.

Overall: I am currently in the second year of the B.Des Product Design programme at Parul University. This is a three-year programme with a specialisation in product design. The course fee at Parul University is in a bit higher side. Students need to pay Rs 2,25,000 annually.

Placement: Parul University is recognised as No 1 in placements. Various startups and MNCs come to our university to hire the design students. Many students also get internships or final placements at international companies in design roles.

Infrastructure: The Institute of Design at Parul University is well-equipped. There is a dedicated design studio where we develop and practice our design skills. We are also encouraged to participate in various design competitions and festivals across the country.

Faculty: We get to learn a lot from our teachers. They response to every question and clarifies our doubt even beyond the classrooms. The support stuff at our institution are also really helpful.

Hostel: Parul University has adequate number of boys and girls students to offer accommodation to students who are in need of accommodation. The room at the hostels are generally shared and come with attached or common bathrooms. The hostel fee varies from hostel to hostel.

Overall: I'm currently pursuing B.Des in Visual Communication at Parul University Vadodara. Gujarati students should attend this college as the majority crowd is Gujarati. Parul's placement history is solid, and its overall rankings are above average. You might consider submitting an application to this college as well if you are qualified for admission. Additionally, scholarships are distributed based on family wealth and caste.

Placement: There are many job opportunities if you are skilled in your field. Every year, almost every student gets a job or goes for a master's. Many large companies, including TCS, Infosys, IBM, and others, visit this college to hire exceptional students and give lucrative compensation packages as a result of the placement cell's success over the years.

Infrastructure: The food at the canteen is excellent and on par with what is served at a five-star hotel. Modern, digital classrooms are available at our university. Hostels are accessible to everyone on campus. Parul University infrastructure is first-class, I would advise students to come visit the campus before applying.

Faculty: The professors are motivated and talented people. Most of the professors have PhDs, however, some are alumni of IIT and IIMs. Students should visit the libraries to access the research papers and other documents online published by these professors. The college offers a variety of workshops, so our course content is constantly updated and incorporates practical learning.

Hostel: On the Parul Vadodara campus, there are a lot of hostels, all of which are furnished with important facilities. Due to the relatively high fees of the hostel, students who are unable to afford it may opt for one of the many PGs nearby.

Overall: Parul university is a good institute for designing it is ranked amongst the top 50 design colleges universities offers varieties of designing courses other than bdes and mdes . The university is accredited by NIFT . The programmes are taught by experienced teachers and professors , placement is also pretty good and secured , university also provides you with the studio and industry visits it is quite well equipped too . There are some cons too like fees is relatively high and it is situated in Vadodara which may not be preferred location for some students

Placement: Placement in Parul is also fine I can say because it’s not like they do not give placements they have tie ups with very strong companies but I can only say this for my branch as many of other branches here struggle to get placement mostly engineering and business but in designing everything is based on your hardwork and your creative mind as they test that only if you’re good at your work your portfolio is good then they’ll take you hand by hand and also they their is always a option of switch and upgrade in designing you’ll get the salary as per your work and experience they’ll cont the number of work till date as a design student you always have a option to showcase your work while studying too paid internship are also available but not by university you have to search for it the starting package is around 3 to 4 lakhs pa and 20 to 30 lakhs pa which is very rare 1 out of 100 average package you’ll get by the college is 7 to 8 lakhs pa always depends on your work . Best of luck from my side for new aspiring students of Parul don’t forget it’s always a new experience and hardwork is never a waste. It’s not up to college how you do in your future life college does not decide this college is only a staircase to your future the only thing matters is how you do how you use the staircase to fulfill your dreams you can extract as much as you want from this college, Parul is a good option thumbs up from my side.

Infrastructure: It is very big and renowned university the minute you enter Vadodara you’ll see lots of buses and advertisements of university and also one very interesting thing infrastructure is done by students of Parul only infrastructure is a total show off as big as a district campus life is fun here food court different clubs grounds every thing is available campus will not disappoint students for sure.

Faculty: Faculties is Parul are Okk not so much satisfactory you have to study by your own as faculty and student their self will be always busy in events but teachers are extremely experienced and polite my teachers never said no to me whenever I asked them for help but I don’t know it’s same in everyone’s case or not because in some departments teachers are only there for attendance and salary nothing else but in designing it was not like that you have to give some extra effort’s to study from them coz most of the time they leave everything on us only .

Hostel: Parul offer hostels as per your preference AC non AC sharing non sharing I paid around 1 lakh for hostel but I can say I was pretty much satisfied with the space provided by them they take so much care of their students as security is very tight and also they give staff for cleaning and laundry this is best thing as we not get the tym at all as a design student to maintain anything mess is also Okk obviously no so good what else you expect from clg hostels but it’s not so bad tymings of mess is very strict you cannot miss it study rooms are also available for students who like to study late nights.

Overall: No doubt, Parul University is one of the best design colleges in India to pursue B.Des in Visual Communication programmes. I am currently in the third year of the programme. The B.Des programme is a good mix of graphic designing, photography etc. The institute has a state-of-the-art infrastructure. All the faculties and staff are very coordinating and helpful. Nearly all my seniors got placed in top organisations.

Placement: The placements at our college are good. The hiring procedure at this place is excellent since they have trained teachers who review candidates for mentoring purposes. They are placed as Graphic designers, illustrators, professional design practitioners, professional photographers. Some students from our batch have opened their creative agencies as well.

Infrastructure: The B.Des department at the Parul University Vadodara campus is well-equipped in terms of infrastructure. The college offers modern solutions. Apart from this, it has a cafeteria, wifi, AC classrooms, and computer labs with high-speed internet access for students.

Faculty: The faculty at Parul University has a lot of industry experience. You can always get help from mentors and staff. The seniors are a great resource for the institute as well. Anytime you want, you can get in touch with them if you have any questions or issues.

Hostel: The institute provides accommodation for its students. Good food is offered in the hostel cafeteria at Parul University. But the quality of food needs to be improved. The canteen does not have a variety of refreshments.

Overall: Parul Institute of Design has really shaped my personality by giving me chance to learn and by providing a platform where I can showcase my skills and talent and the exposure which they give students help them not only in academics but also help them shape their personality and their skills.

Placement: Parul University always give students the opportunity to learn and make money every student of our batch has received a placement in good companies and the university has helped us in every aspect of learning

Infrastructure: The infrastructure or the design institute of Parul university provides a unique environment for students that helps us to get a better understanding of everything

Faculty: Faculty here is the best they are friendly and helpful they not only teach us how to gain marks and knowledge but overall they focus on the overall learning experience of students which is amazing

Hostel: Hostels of the university provide accommodation inside the campus which is a better choice than living outside it provides us with food and laundry facilities

Overall: I completed my B.Des in Fashion Design and Technology from the Faculty of Design at Parul University in 2020. We won the Best Khadi Concept of the Year 2019 at the National Designer Awards 2019 held in Goa.

Placement: The alumni of the Faculty of Design are placed at top firms such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon, among many others. Our students also receive overseas internship opportunities as a part of the summer internship programme.

Infrastructure: The Faculty of Design has a designated design studio to hone our skills. The institute organises a number of workshops by industry experts throughout the year to help us with our skill development.

Faculty: Our faculty are experienced professionals from NIFTs and NIDs. They also guide us thoroughly to get a suitable international student exchange programme as per our skills and experience.

Hostel: Students who want hostel accommodation can avail themselves of one at Parul University hostels. The hostels have all the amenities to give you an experience of a home away from home.

Overall: This is my first year as a Parul University B.Des in Fashion Design Technology student. The college campus is lovely, and the campus accommodations are equally well-designed. All courses provide a plethora of placement opportunities. The college is well-known and has exchange programmes with overseas colleges.

Placement: This college has excellent job placement, and everyone gets a job. Many prominent recruiters visit this college and offer excellent job chances both within and outside of the city. The college holds yearly placement drives for new graduates as well as internship opportunities for others.

Infrastructure: I am a resident of Vadodara so I have always seen this college campus and wanted to go to this college. This college is close to my house, so transport is fine. You can also stay in the many hostels situated inside the Parul University campus.

Faculty: The teachers could be better. At least in our department, the teachers are average. They can be quite dismissive and strict. The HOD however is good and helpful. Other staff is also nice and helpful.

Hostel: The residence halls on campus are well-known. Despite being costly, they offer the students all the facilities they need. But I don't live in the hostel, as I am from the same city itself.

Overall: I'm currently enrolled in a B.Des. in product design course. Parul University is one of Vadodara’s best B.Des institutions. The elderly are really kind and provide guidance. One of the main advantages of receiving a B.Des in Product Design from Parul University is that the faculty members are experienced educators, and the curriculum complies with industry standards and specifications.

Placement: The placement cell on campus assists us at every stage. It ensures that students get the greatest number of employment opportunities. Mock interviews, seminars, group discussions, and other training activities are provided for students by the Parul University placement office. Each year, companies like Barclays, Wipro, and others hire students from Parul University.

Infrastructure: The Parul University campus is well-equipped with modern amenities. On campus, better learning is made possible via smart classrooms. WiFi, computer labs, and other amenities are available on the institute's campus for students. The canteen of Parul University serves great, fresh meals to its students.

Faculty: The professors at the college have years of experience. Students can reach their professors at any time. They are very helpful to their students However, some academics' assistance is restricted to the classroom. The institute's faculty is made up of both recently hired academics and seasoned professionals.

Hostel: The hostels at the Parul University Vadodara offer separate rooms for boys and girls. On-site dining at the hostel provides delectable foods. The food quality is good and hostel rooms are also provided with good amenities.
