LPU has well-scrutinized placement structure with tie-ups with leading brands like Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Tech Mahindra that offer training and internships to our students. LPU has a separate Division of Career Services that creates the desired placement and internship opportunities for students in the industry at national/international level. LPU has an impressive track record of academic, placement, entrepreneurship and related support services which have resulted in spectacular all-round achievements and healthy career progression of students.
In addition to technical and professional knowledge, course curriculum lays special emphasis on enhancing soft skills that are a vital part of personality development and confidence. The curriculum incorporates specific courses under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester. Exhaustive preparatory sessions are conducted before the placement drives of leading brands and major recruiters so that more students can secure good placement offers at dream packages with such brands.
The multinational companies like Google, Intel, Microsoft, L&T, IBM, Pega, Bosch, CISCO, Siemens, Cadence, Texas Instruments, Dell EMC, CompTIA, Vmware IT Academy, PEGA, Automation Anywhere, ASSOCHAM GEN, Informatica, NSE Academy, Cooper Surgical, Aitodesk, WileyNXT, Virtusa, Safeducate, Bioclues Organization, Hughes, Xebia, Transorg, GeeksforGeeks, Tech Mahindra, etc. have setup their Centres of Excellence at LPU, where students get an opportunity to get trained by them from inside the campus.
Undoubtedly, year-on-year LPU has been setting new records with regard to students’ placements.
Cognizant and Capgemini recognized LPU for generating Highest No. of Placement Offers in North India for the session 2020-21 with them.
Robert Bosch Engineering Group (RBEI) “Bosch” recognized LPU for having Highest Number of Campus Selections in India for the year 2019-2020 with Bosch.
Infosys appreciated LPU for its hard-work and committed efforts to bridge the gap between industry and academia.
LPU Alumni have been working at packages of upto 3 Cr at international brands like Google, Yahoo, Apple, Amazon and, Verizon. Placements in 1400+ unique companies including Amazon, Lenskart, Bank of America, Bosch, Capgemini, HP, MRF Limited, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, KPIT, TCS, IBM, Samsung, Kotak Mahindra Bank, British Telecom, CEAT, IndiGo Airlines, Life Cell, Decathlon Sports, Josh Technology Group, Tech Mahindra and many more, with a year-on-year increase in the number of recruiters from around 150 in 2014-15 to 1200+ in 2021-22.
