How to Check the OJEE Seat Allotment 2026?

 Follow the steps given below to check the OJEE seat allotment 2026.

• Visit the official website of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board.

• Then, click on the OJEE 2026 seat allotment link will be available on the homepage.

• The next step is to enter certain personal credentials such as the application number and password.

• This step will let the students log in and check the seat allotment.

• Students are also required to take a printout of the seat allotment file.

OJEE Seat Allotment 2026: Freeze, Float and Slide After

The detailed procedure of OJEE seat allotment is mentioned below in this section. 

• Freeze: With the release of the OJEE Round 1 Seat Allotment result, you get to know whether or not they have been allotted a college and a course. If they find themselves satisfied with the result and allocation, they may proceed with their document verification at nodal centers. This process is also called freezing their option. 

• Float: If you are happy with your allotted college but are looking for a different or better discipline to study, you choose the float option.  

• Slide: If you want to go ahead with accepting your seats but are looking for a better college and course option, you opt for the slide option. 

• Those who are looking for better options after the Round 1 seat allotment can participate in the Round 2 seat allotment. The same options are provided in this round as well. 

• Finally, the rest of the seats that remained vacant after the first two rounds are filled through the final seat allotment round.

OJEE 2026 Temporary Seat Allotment

Odisha Joint Entrance Engineering Board will release an OJEE 2026 mock seat allotment before the final seat allotment result. During mock seat allotment, seats are assigned to candidates based on their best-fitting rank, preference, and category/reservation. The candidate will be notified of the temporary seat position by SMS on the cellphone number provided upon registration. The temporary seat allotment result will be posted on the OJEE website, ojee.nic.in, on the appointed day and time. Candidates should not report to their assigned institution based on a temporary seat allocation, as this is not the final allocation of the seat.

During the auto upgrade, the temporary seat allotment position may remain the same, or the applicant can be upgraded to the top choice they filled in the choice filling. As a result, the applicant must exercise caution when picking and completing the options. Candidates must input their most preferred option at the top in the OJEE  2026 choice filling. 

Withdrawal of OJEE Seats

Candidates can withdraw their seats if they wish to from the OJEE counselling 2026, regardless of temporary seat allotment. To withdraw seats, candidates must report to the Nodal Center where they validate documents within the time frame indicated. The university registration cost will be returned to the candidate's account information provided during the withdrawal procedure.

Final OJEE Seat Allotment 2026

Following the release of the mock seat allotment, the authorities publish the OJEE 2026 final seat allotment result. The final seat allotment result will be available at the OJEE website, ojee.nic.in. You should download the final seat allotment letter after reviewing the final seat allotment list from OJEE 2026. They must then report to the designated institute with their final seat assignment letter and fee deposit form. If you fail to report to the designated institute during the OJEE Seat Allotment, the university registration cost of INR 5000 will not be returned.

How to Withdraw OJEE 2026 Seat?

If you want to withdraw from the seat allotted during OJEE seat allotment process, you can follow the steps below to do so:

• You will have to report to the nodal centres within the stipulated time.

• The withdrawal window usually remains open for one or two days, so it's important that candidates don't miss the deadline.

• You will have to fill in an application form providing details about their bank account in which they need the registration fee to be refunded.

• Once the request has been approved, the authorities refund their university registration fee.
