The Department of Training & Placement envisages to train each learner a successful person by giving competence training to help the individual to be employed, while nurturing the technical and soft skills to perpetuate the idea of confidence and security for a bright and prosperous future.
Imparting the knowledge of basic Leadership quality, Professional ethics, Team spirit and Soft skills to the students with proper and effective guidance given by the eminent professionals for the development of student’s community.
The Training and Placement cell conducts periodic assessment to access the current skills in detail and identify strengths and weaknesses that can be developed among the students. The Training modules are planned right from the First year of the engineering Program.
Training and Placement encompasses three main activities: Training, Education and Development.
- Training: Keeping in view the current trends and technologies being used by the industries, the training curriculum is designed for preparing the students as entry level Graduate Engineer Trainees.
- Education: Appropriate skills for the job profile are acquired by the students during the classroom sessions on Aptitude and Conceptual training.
- Development: This activity focuses upon the personality development to make the students reliable with positive attitude and right decision making.
The Training and Placement Cell at MKCE centrally handles campus placement of the graduating students of our campus. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of placement process. The Cell is well equipped with ample infrastructure in Terms of Testing halls, Conference Hall for Presentations, Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Online Test, Group Discussions, Interviews, Video Conference facility are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies.
The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in ‘Industry-Institute Interaction'. In order to accomplish 'Industry-institute interaction', it organizes technical talks and Webinars to provide a platform for the budding engineers to interact with professionals from various industries.
It also takes suggestions from members of industry regarding designing/changing of curriculum. The college has signed MOUs with many industrial organizations and industrial chambers.
Technical contests are held in collaboration with industries to discuss new developments and trends.
