The recruiters in the 2021 season included Abzooba, Accenture, Appitsimple, Infotek, Aptus Datalabs, Centroxy, Cognizant, Cognizant Gen C Next, CoreEL, Cozentus, CSM, Digit General Insurance, ESSPL, Evosys Technologies, Felix Healthcare, Hexaware, Infogain, Infosys, iServe U, Larkai Healthcare, Marquee Semiconductor, Maventic, MindFire solutions, Nagarro, Nirmalya Labs, PoloSoft Tech, Qvantel, etc. In 2021, 483 students qualified for SIT placements, there were 735 jobs offered, 160 internships offered, and a total of 50 companies visited.

The summer internship at the Silicon Institute of Technology is a one-credit course. In 2022, the summer internship period will be from 27th June to 30th July 2022. The duration of this internship is either 30 – 45 days or 100 hours. Its held during summer breaks after the 2nd, 4th or 6th semesters. In 2021, 1410 students did internships across 10 domains, 27 programs in blended mode learning. Of the 1410 students, nearly 10% students got paybacks. Through these internships, students learn to pick up new skills and the importance of upskilling whenever required. It helps them to identify their career tracks and specialization early on. The mentoring from domain experts from the industry inform and enrich their understanding of their future, thus helping them make better-informed choices. Their networking with industry professionals enables them to have an edge in the placements conducted later on.
