Over 52 companies attended the SPJIMR autumn internship drive, with 27 of them being first-time recruiters. For two months, students received an average stipend of Rs 2.61 lakhs. At SPJIMR placements, the maximum stipend was Rs 4 lakhs for two months.

In this year’s placement cell, recruiters continuously increased consulting offers, with the domain being the leading recruiter, with almost 36% of the batch obtaining work. The firms Deloitte USI and PwC US Advisory made the most offers.

This was bolstered by new recruiters such as Himalaya and returning recruiters such as GSK Consumer Health, resulting in over 18% of the batch being placed in the industry. Sales & marketing, systems, corporate finance, and supply chain operations were all on the table.

International financial service firms participated in the SPJIMR placement cell. The e-commerce growth resulted in around 30 bids for the cohort from industry titans such as Amazon, Cloudtail, Flipkart, Go-MMT, Grofers, and Prione. Recruiters in this field offered a plethora of new roles, providing participants with a wide range of alternatives. General management and leadership positions provide applicants with cross-domain experience, allowing them to advance into leadership positions.
