In CLAT 2025, the Round 1 closing rank for admission to Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala under the General category was 1146, which increased to 1260 in Round 2. This upward shift reflects the dynamic nature of the admission process, where vacancies emerge as candidates with higher ranks opt for other institutions or withdraw. As a result, candidates with slightly lower ranks continue to gain admission in subsequent rounds. With three more counselling rounds remaining, students still have a viable chance of securing a seat at RGNUL, especially if similar trends continue in the coming rounds. To improve your chances, it is crucial to stay actively engaged throughout the entire CLAT counselling process. Ensure that your preferences are accurate and reflect your current priorities, and make updates if the system allows. Keep a close watch on your CLAT candidate portal and the official CLAT website for real-time updates, seat allotments, and deadlines. Prompt responses to any new offers and regular participation in each counselling round will greatly enhance your likelihood of admission to the BA LLB program at RGNUL.

Dear student,

With your score of 10720 in NIMCET, it seems difficult for you to get admission in any of the NITs. The top NITs like Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Allahabad usually close admissions for the General category within the top 50-300 ranks. Even for reserved categories, the ranks typically do not extend into five digits.

For other participating NITs like Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Agartala generally remain within the top 1000-2000 for the General/OBC-NCL categories. For SC/ST categories, some may go up to 4000-8000, but 10720 is still a very difficult rank to get into any of the participating NITs.

Unfortunately, with an All India Rank of 10720, your chances of getting admission into any of the NIMCET participating NITs (National Institutes of Technology) is highly unlikely for the MCA programme. Based on previous years' cut-off trends, it will be difficulut for you to get a seat even if you belong to the reserved categories basis last year's trend. The competition is extremely high for these limited seats (around 800-1000 seats across all NITs).

You can try for other universities like AKTU, GGSIPU, HBTU, UoH and state government aided universities. You might need to appear for state exams like MAH MCA CET for Maharashtra, OJEE for Odisha, PGCET for Karnataka, etc. for admission to state universities.

With an an OBC rank of 803 in the NIMCET 2025 exam, you have a good chance of getting admission into several NITs such as NIT Raipur, NIT Krukshetra and NIT Jamshedpur.

Hi, if your degree results are expected in May or June, you can still apply for the NIMSET 2025 (Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Engineering, and Technology) admission exam. Here's what you must understand while applying:

  • Make sure you meet all of the qualifying criteria for NIMSET 2025, which often include having completed or being in the final year of your degree. Even if your results are waiting, you can apply with the assumption that you will meet the qualifying requirements whenever they are available.
  • The NIMCET 2025 application form is expected to be released online at nimcet.admissions.nic.in in March 2025, with the last date for submission likely to be in the third week of April 2025.
  • If your degree results are due after the application deadline, see if the application form permits you to provide provisional details (like marks obtained so far). Many examinations allow applicants in this position to apply after their results are released.
  • While you wait for your results, ensure that you have other required documents ready, such as your ID proof, previous academic records, and other relevant certificates. When the results are announced, you can quickly update or submit the necessary information.
  • Once your degree result is announced, finalize your application by updating it with the final marks or certificates. Just ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements before the deadline.

I hope this is helpful!
