Quantum University was established in 2017 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand by the Uttarakhand State Legislature. It is a State Private University that offers quality education in various disciplines and is one of the best universities in the region for engineering and technology. Quantum University has been awarded the best private engineering college in North India. The university has, however, could not make its place in the NIRF Ranking List. But, the university was acknowledged and appreciated by awards and ranks of reputation.

Quantum University does not have a NIRF ranking for 2023 probably because it did not submit its data. The last data that can be found on the university website is for 2021. To get NIRF ranking, the university has to participate in the NIRF Ranking List.

Quantum University Academia & Batch Size

Quantum University offers a variety of courses in UG, PG, Integrated programmes and PhD level courses. In contrast with the archaic curricula, the new age curricula at Quantum University align the education system with industry dynamics and interdisciplinary learning. Quantum University Education Loan 

One of the best thing about Quantum University is that they have announced the signing of an MOU with an NBFC located in Bangalore, which will enable students to get study loans. There have been instances reported in the university where students are unable to pay the charge under the semester- or year-long payment plan. To help these students, a third-party study loan option has been made available at Quantum University, allowing the students to return the loan in manageable, equal payments.

Quantum University Scholarships

Quantum University provides scholarships to its students that can be categorized under three heads:

• Q-care exam: Quantum University conducts a Q-Care exam for candidates seeking admission in around 55+ programs. A candidate who will score the required mark will have around 50% of their tuition fees covered under the scholarship. The scholarships range around INR 10,000 to 30,000 and are given based on the marks achieved in the Q-Care exam. 

• JEE Rank: The university also provides scholarships to candidates who have excellent JEE rank but need financial aid. Depending on the rank obtained by the candidates, a certain percentage of the tuition fee is waived.

• Board Exams: Candidates who do not give the Q-Care exam but have an exceptional score in the board exam can avail themselves of scholarships under this category. The Board Exams scholarships range between INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 depending on the marks that they have got.

On the official website of Quantum University, we could not find recent data so based on NIRF 2021’s data, we can say that the university has more students as compared to the sanctioned intake. The students of Quantum get to select from a variety of courses offered by the university and the course fees might make a hole in your pocket as it is a private university. The university offers different types of scholarships to its students.

Quantum University Infrastructure

At Quantum University, the students get to express and hone their aesthetic sensibilities in sports, theatre, dance, music, photography, design, art, and social work through a host of clubs and committees. The campus life of the university is amazing as students get to play their favourite sports, hang out in the vibrant cafeteria, get internet facilities and other opportunities. 

The university has separate hostels for boys and girls and all hostels have basic amenities such as a common space, internet, a gym, laundry, and security. The Quantum University cafeteria (Q-Café) on campus provides high-quality snacks, beverages, and meals at reasonable prices.

Mess

Quantum University has a mess facility where students decide on the menu. A student committee along with faculty members decides on the menu every 15 days and the menu is changed every fortnight.

The Quantum University cafeteria is also known as Q-Café, where students connect with their pals and teachers. Students are offered the finest nutritious food in a very relaxed atmosphere. The affordably priced cafeteria offers healthy and yummy snacks which is open every day and offer a variety of drinks and snacks between scheduled meals.

Although the campus is well connected by local public transport, Quantum University has its own bus service which provides transport facilities from nearby cities to the campus from specific pickup points pre-defined as per the convenience of students. At present, a fleet of 14 buses ply from:

The library at Quantum University has a significant collection of books, standards, reports, proceedings, and national and international publications. The library is stocked with resources in engineering, management, administration, and related fields. Quantum University has a well-maintained auditorium with 550 seats and central air conditioning. The auditorium has modern amenities such as a multimedia projector and sound equipment. It also includes wide lobbies perfect for hosting international conferences and exhibitions. The university auditorium also hosts academic activities such as conferences, seminars, placement drives, yearly festivities, and farewell parties.

Our Take:

You shall regularly receive guided instructions in that sport and shall be expected to complete Non-CGPA credits in it. The quality, selection and ease of Qauntum's dining services are among the best colleges.

Quantum University has a training and placement cell that prepares students for various challenges in the industry. The placements provide training for soft skills, technical skills, technical certification programs, aptitude, and logical reasoning skills. To make the students industry-ready at the time of passing out, the university ensures imparting rigorous technical training under an array of industrial tie-ups as MOUs. With over 85% of its students placed in over 50 blue chip companies having visited campus and with packages touching a high of INR 33.5 L under its belt, it is of great achievement for Quantum. According to the college website, Quantum University has placed MBA and B.Tech students in over 192 companies. KPIT, Yes Bank, Mahindra, Think and Learn, Tech Mahindra, and NIIT Technology are among the leading organizations that participated in Quantum’s placement process.

Quantum University also has a strong track record of helping students to get internships at top companies. In 2023, 70% of B.Tech CSE students at Quantum University got internships at companies such as Infosys, Google, Flipkart, Code Runner, HCL, and TCS. The university tries to smoothen the way for its students and offers many internships during their final year.
