RLJIT was started in the year 2001 at Doddaballapur, Bengaluru District is approved by AICTE, Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and ISO 9001:2008 Certified. RLJIT is spread across 34 acres of land, amidst greenery and rose gardens with excellent Infrastructure including Academic blocks, Administrative block, Library, Seminar hall, Hostels accommodating 600 students for girls & boys within the campus, 24 hrs Medical facility. Rising demands for professionally trained engineers and technologists, RLJIT has developed fast, and features a superlative infrastructure and a fine overall ambience for professional learning and personality development, today. The educators at RLJIT work to bring the world’s technology closer to the needy students by motivating them to involve themselves in shaping the tomorrow’s technology. This is made possible by making the students learn more towards skills rather than content. At present RLJIT offers 3 UG Courses – Computers Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering along with a Research Center attached to Mechanical Engineering department. All the departments have highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty.Good number of companies are invited for placement activities. The Department of HRD is being established to play a vital role for the training and placement of the students in the institute. A full fledged team has been established with the support of student co-ordinators.A large number of companies have visited the campus to conduct campus recruitment. The objective of The Department of HRD is to look for 100% employment. The Department operates year round to facilitate contacts between companies and Engineering graduates. It ensures that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search. The Department of HRD is provided with a well-equipped conference room, Interview rooms, Control room for the Visiting company and Hall for conducting tests and presentations.
