Ramgarhia Girls College located in Ludhiana; Punjab is a significant multi-faculty institution. Established in 1970 by Late Baba Gurmukh Singh, it has been a sacred institution providing high-quality educational opportunity to students of all socio-economic background and gender. They mainly stress in women empowerment and have done a lot to educate women under the guidance of Late Giani Bhagat Singh Ji and Late S. Jagat Singh Ji. The mission is to gift India and the world with such professionals who can compete and keep striving under unfavorable conditions too. They abide by their aim of women empowerment and have won various awards and titles at national and international levels for the same. The college believe not only in classroom-based learning but also in encouraging the students for various extra-curricular activities to make them an outstanding individual. Women are given various opportunities and not pressurized under any conditions. It helps in their overall growth. Due to internal strife between the misl sardars, Jassa Singh was forced into exile in the territory of Malwa from 1782 to 1787 CE.Jassa Singh Ramgarhia retired to the Punjab and recovered his lost territories, and established his headquarters at Batala, which was fortified by him for the defence of his empire.
