SCAD accepts the scores of national-level architecture exams for admission in B.Arch course. Candidates aspiring for SCAD B.Arch admission 2019 must have a valid score in any of the following entrance exams -

1. NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)
2. JEE Main (Paper 2)

SCAD B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2019

SCAD B,Arch applicants must note that they should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% of marks. Apart from the basic eligibility requirement, the candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in Class 12. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering can also register for B.Arch admission in SCAD. However, these candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in Diploma or Class 10 level.

Apart from the above, the candidates must have a valid score in NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2) to be eligible for SCAD B.Arch admission.

SCAD B.Arch Application Process 2019

SCAD B.Arch aspirants have multiple methods of filling the application form. Candidates aspiring for direct admission can visit the official website of the college, i.e., SCAD Chennai directly to fill the online application form. The candidates can find the online application form under the admissions tab of the SCAD. The candidates will have to enter all the details in the SCAD B.Arch application form, mention the score of NATA/ JEE Main Paper 2 and submit the application form. A representative of the college will get in touch with the candidates and shall proceed with further admission formalities.

Candidates can also register for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), a centralized and common admission process for B.Tech and B.Arch admissions in Tamil Nadu. Only a limited number of seats are reserved for B.Arch admission through TNEA.

SCAD B.Arch Selection Process 2019

The selection of candidates for B.Arch admission in SCAD is completely based on their performance in NATA or JEE Main (Paper 2) exam. Once the candidates submit the application form through the official website of the college, he/she will be shortlisted on the basis of his/her marks in the entrance exam and percentage in qualifying exams. The above-mentioned selection process is applicable only for those candidates who submitted the online application form through the official website of the college.

SCAD B.Arch aspirants who applied for admission through TNEA must note that the admission process will be based on the performance in the entrance exam and Class 12 marks. The candidates must also clear the cutoff specified by SCAD to be eligible for the admission.
