Brainware University Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Brainware University scholarships are available for students with needs and merit. Students who have performed well in academics and sports can get scholarships offered by Brainware University. Brainware University scholarships are available for students who are getting admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma programmes. Moreover, Brainware University also offers government scholarships for its students. The Brainware University scholarship amount varies from one scholarship to another, but students with merit can get a 100% fee waiver scholarship from Brainware University.

The ‘Brainware Academic Excellence Scholarship’ or ‘Brainware Vidyalankar Scholarship’ is a scholarship programme run by Brainware University. This Brainware University scholarship programme does not apply to international students. Students who have opted for B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing and GNM programmes can apply for the ‘Brainware Academic Excellence Scholarship’. Brainware Vidyalankar Scholarship

The ‘Brainware Merit Scholarship’ or ‘Brainware Medha Britti Scholarship’ is a merit-based scholarship offered by Brainware University to PG, UG, and Diploma students. To be eligible for the Brainware Medha Britti Scholarship, students must score well in the previous qualifying exams like class 12, class 10, and graduation. Note:

• Merit Scholarship is not applicable for Lateral & Ph.D candidates
• Merit Scholarship is not applicable for D.Pharm, DMLT, DRD
• Merit Scholarship is not applicable for LLM, M.Sc Maths, MSc Applied Psychology & MA English
• Merit Scholarship for LLB will be calculated as per PG course
• All Amounts will be deducted from last semester fees

The Brainware University scholarships are also available for students who pursue higher studies at this university. To encourage students to apply for better degrees, Brainware University offers the ‘Brainware Degree Enhancement Scholarship’ or ‘Brainware Vidya Jyoti’. Students must maintain a minimum of 60% marks throughout the academic year during the course to be eligible for any scholarships offered by Brainware University, including the ‘Brainware Degree Enhancement Scholarship’.

Aspiring candidates who are good at sports can get Brainware University scholarships for sports. The ‘Brainware Sports Scholarship’ or the ‘Brainware Krira Ratna Scholarship’ is offered to students who have achieved a minimum of district-level medals/trophies/certificates in sports. The Brainware University also offers students to opt for the ‘Kanyashree Prakalpa’. It is a girl-child scheme which was first introduced to prevent child marriages. It offers financial support to students who are likely to fall victim to child marriages. The scheme is applicable to school-going students. Later on, the state government of West Bengal introduced ‘Kanyashree Plus’, which gives Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT) to students so that they can complete their graduation.

Brainware University offers the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, which is a merit cum means scholarship which is offered to economically backward families living in West Bengal to pursue higher studies. • Scholarship for ST, SC & OBC Students in West Bengal - The West Bengal government's Backward Classes Welfare Department and Tribal Development programme provides pre-matric scholarships for SC and ST students, as well as post-matric scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC students. These scholarships aim to promote higher education.
• National Scholarship - The Indian Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) provides Pre-Matric Scholarships, Post-Matric Scholarships, Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarships, and the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme for minority students.
• Aikyashree Scholarship - West Bengal offers the Aikyashree Scholarship for meritorious students from minority communities. The programme is managed by WBMDFC (West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation).
