Eligibility Criteria and Scheme Details

Calcutta Business School provides scholarships to its prospective students on the basis of marks secured by them in the graduation level. The graduation result of students who secure a seat in the MBA courses of Calcutta Business School determines the amount of financial assistance they can get from the institute. The institute calculates the percentage of graduation degree of the students according to the regulations and provisions of the university or college from which the student has graduated. 

The total amount of financial assistance that is availed by a student is offered after dividing it equally into six instalments. After the division of the total scholarship, each instalment is reduced from the tuition fee that is to be paid by the student for each term. Scholarships at Calcutta Business School can be availed by students solely on the basis of their bachelor’s result. Apart from this scholarship scheme, the Calcutta Business School also offers two scholarships to students as a reward for their hard work and efforts. The students who secure the first and second positions in each of the first, second, and third trimesters are given a reward of Rs. 25,000 each.

Calcutta Business School also provides tuition fee waiver to four students at the time of their admission to the PGDM programme. These students only have to pay 40 per cent of the total applicable course fee. To get selected for this scholarship scheme of Calcutta Business School, the student must have 75 per cent marks or more at the undergraduate level and he/ she must have a score of 85 percentile or above in CAT or XAT.
