    NICMAR University Scholarship

    NICMAR University has set aside up to 5% of available seats for students applying through the management quota. NICMAR applicants must, however, ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for admission to the programme of their choice. Furthermore, they must go through the traditional admissions process outlined above. NICMAR University also offers loans to students who belong from weaker financial backgrounds to help pay their tuition fees in instalments.

    After receiving admission confirmation, the candidate is expected to pay the first instalment of the tuition fee within the time frame specified. Following the completion of the NICMAR University scholarship programme, students will be able to access complete on-campus assistance for all their needs and queries.

    Some of the NICMAR University scholarships are:

    University Gold Medal Award

    During each semester, a student is eligible for one award/scholarship. Students who have been accepted for internships during the training period are also given stipends or allowances.

    Top Rankers' Scholarship

    This NICMAR scholarship covers the entirety of your financial needs if the candidate wishes to pursue a full-time MBA or PG Diploma programme.

    Merit Scholarship Scheme

    This NICMAR scholarship provides financial assistance for the Integrated MBA programme. During each semester, a student is eligible for one such award/scholarship. Students who have been accepted for internships during the training period are offered stipends or allowances.

    Cherry Hill Interiors Limited Merit Scholarship.

    Criteria and rule award of scholarship

    Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the Trimester Performance Index (TPI) of the concerned academic trimester.

    •  A merit list based on the TPI of top three each from senior and junior batch students of all full time two year post graduate programmes as detailed in Table 1B will be prepared.
    •  In case of any tie amongst candidates on same TPI, merit will be determined by Cumulative Performance Index (CPI). In case of tie in CPI, student securing maximum number of grade ‘AA’ followed by maximum number of grade ‘AB’ will be given preference. After that if the tie continues, the scholarship amount will be split evenly amongst the concerned candidates.
    •  Award of scholarship will be decided after the declaration of each term end examination results.
    •  The scholarship will be paid after the declaration of the same.

    Criteria for selection

    • Top three rank holders from junior batch and top three rank holders from senior batch of full time two year post graduate programmes. 
    • Top rank holder will get Rs. 10,000/- per month, second rank will get Rs. 9,000/- and third rank will get Rs. 8,000/- per month for the academic term.
    • Scholarship will be given for the duration of academic trimester.

    NICMAR Top Ranker’s Scholarship

    Five students securing highest marks in the ‘NICMAR Common Admissions Test’ and other selection criteria of admission process and join NICMAR will be awarded scholarships. The scholarship will consist of full admission fee, tuition fee, hostel and boarding charges waiver for the entire duration of the programme. This scholarship is available for students wanting to pursue any of NICMAR’s full time two-year post graduate programmes. If the students eligible for the scholarship, decline or postpone the admission to NICMAR’s full time two-year post graduate programmes, this scholarship will not be offered to other students or to the student who postpones his/her admission for any reasons whatsoever.

    These students must comply with the following requirements for continuance of scholarship in subsequent academic trimesters. Breach of any of these conditions will disqualify the student for the same and will make the student forfeit the scholarship. In such a case, the student will have to pay for the necessary fees, hostel and boarding charges for the next academic trimester. The scholarship will be restored in subsequent trimester/s, depending on the fulfillment of the conditions stated below.


    •  The awardees' attendance in any course of study shall not be less than 80%.
    •  Students should pass the trimester in the first attempt.
    • Trimester Performance Index (TPI) should be 8.5 and above.
    •  The awardees shall have no adverse comments/grading on record from disciplinary committee for any reason whatsoever.
    •  No gaps/break in trimesters whatsoever during the entire programme are permissible.
    •  The decision of the PGP Executive Committee shall be final and binding on all parties concerned, subject to the approval of Director General.
    •  The awardees shall maintain high standards of conduct and behaviour and conform to the discipline of the Institute, as laid down in the ‘Code of Conduct’ of the Institute.

    NICMAR Means Based Top Ranker’s Scholarship

    Five students out of 100 students securing highest marks in the ‘NICMAR Common Admissions Test’ and other selection criteria, whose gross annual family income is less than INR 6,00,000 and need financial support to complete their education at NICMAR will be awarded scholarships. The scholarship will consist of full admission fee, tuition fee, hostel and boarding charges waiver for the entire duration of the programme. This scholarship is available for students wanting to pursue any of NICMAR’s full time two-year post graduate programmes. If the students eligible for the  scholarship, decline or postpone the admission to NICMAR’s full time two-year post graduate programmes, this scholarship will not be offered to other students or to the student who postpones his/her admission for any reasons whatsoever.

    NICMAR Excalibur Award Scholarship

    A special award has been introduced by the institute to stimulate excellence and scholarship of the highest order amongst the student community of NICMAR. The award is titled as 'Excalibur Award Scholarship'. It is awarded to the students securing the highest rank amongsall students of ACM (Pune, Hyderabad(Shamirpet), Goa(Farmagudi), Indore and Delhi NCR(Bahadurgarh) campuses), PEM, REUIM and IFDM programmes. The award is presented trimester wise and it consist of waiver of full tuition fee and hostel fee for the trimester in which the student has secured the highest rank.
     

    The merit holders for Award of Scholarships and Excalibur Award Scholarship should fulfill the following conditions. Breach of any one of these conditions shall make them liable to be disqualified for award of scholarship.

    •  The awardees’ attendance in any course of study shall not be less than 80%.
    •  The awardees shall have no adverse comments/grading on record from disciplinary committee for any reason whatsoever.
    •  Any act of indiscipline shall make the awardees liable to forfeiture of the award.
    •  The decision of the PGP Executive Committee shall be final and binding on all parties concerned, subject to the approval of Director General.
    •  The awardees shall maintain high standards of conduct and behaviour and conform to the discipline of the Institute, as laid down in the Code of Conduct.
    •  The decision of the PGP Executive Committee regarding the forfeiture/suspension of the award shall be final, subject to the approval of Director General. In case of any grievances, student may apply to the Director General. Such cases will be
    • finalised by the Academic Council. No appeal will be allowed against the decision of the Academic Council.

    NICMAR Merit Scholarship Scheme

    The rules are framed to institute, operate and disburse scholarships to students of full time two year post graduate programmes offered by NICMAR.:

    Duration    : For all academic trimesters except summer training
    No of Scholarships : 10 % students of each PGP of each campus i.e. ACM, PEM, REUIM & IFDM programmes

    Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) Scholarship

    Criteria for Selection:

    The top ten rank holders completing the first year of the full time two year post graduate programmes every year and with a minimum score of 75% in the project management related courses, subject to clearance of examination of Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

    If, for some reason, any of the top ten qualifying students are unable to take the CAPM examination, the opportunity will go to the next student in the list upto the 15thposition.

    In the event of a ‘tie’, the decision of the Director General, NICMAR will be final.

    In case the scholarship amount is not utilised fully in any particular year for not meeting the laid down criteria, the scholarship may be extended by another year subject to availability of funds.

    In the event of any changes in the CAPM fees or fluctuation of the currencies (USD vs. INR); the total amount available every year will be capped at INR 1,55,000.
