Hii, this is veeresh. I'm from lower middle class family, the college fee for 2 years is a lot, so I'm worried what if I don't get placed?

Yes, placements is not that easy task to do but if you are career oriented and make small small goals to achieve big in life then you can easily get placed in not only one company but in 3-4 companies because in LPU tons of companies come every year for placements. University conduct PEP classes, mock interview classes, webinars, workshops, guest lecture from expert students kept on participating in these activities by which their skill will be enhancing and their personality comes across better. The key points for students: • Attend all the lectures, maintain the attendance always and CGPA • Attend all the personal enhancement classes by which you work on your personality and soft skill. • Just believe in yourself and don’t realia on short cuts there is no short cut in life, do hard work keep on do that after you become pro in that then do smart work it will best for you own career. So dear, LPU will give you all which you need in order to find a great job, but it is YOU who has to grab the opportunity.

For each programme fee structure is different scholarships are different. Being an LPU student, in my opinion fees of LPU is very genuine for each and every programme. Programme fees: Fees differ from program to program, I talk about the scholarship, they are based upon financial aid, based upon LPUNEST, defence bases, previous qualification based, achievement and in some course’s sports based also. I agree the fees are really high, but in LPU you can manage your fee by getting scholarship, depending upon the marks of your previous qualification or by clearing LPUNEST. Many students get scholarship in LPU according to their +2 Percentages and their Score in LPU-NEST exam.It also provides scholarships to the toppers of the corresponding years in University Scholarship 1 Every year, roughly 50-60 per cent of the students receive scholarships from LPU thereby bringing down their course fees by 70-75%. Scholarship 2 University offers scholarship on the basis of performance in LPUNEST is available for all programms of the university except Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Scholarship bracket for Hons/ Integrated/ Professional programme will be same as corresponding regular programme. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :- • The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelor’s degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher. • LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship. • Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc. • Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. • Board Toppers • For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities • Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable. You are absolutely right to worry about placements after completing a 2-year PGP course, especially considering that you will have to pay more than Rs. 10 lacs as the course fee. For this, you must carefully go through the placement record of National Institute for Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), Pune and only take admission after you are convinced that you will be provided with the only best placement services.
