Sikkim Manipal University admission 2023: NEET PG 2023 correction window is open at nbe.edu.in. Candidates who have successfully submitted the NEET PG 2023 application form will be able to edit the form till February 3, 2023.

The Sikkim Manipal University courses are run by the university are approved by regulatory bodies like the Medical Council of India (MCI), Nursing Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapy, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), and Distance Education Council. The Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), formerly known as the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical, and Technological Sciences, was founded on November 15, 1992, as a result of an agreement between the Government of Sikkim and the Manipal Pai Foundation to provide exemplary education and health care services in Sikkim and across the country. It is the country's first-ever Public-Private Partnership in higher education and health care. There are two campuses at the university. The Medical and Technology campuses. The government of Sikkim provides a grant of Rs 2.25 crore per annum for the hospital, against which CRH offers free treatment to BPL families and concessional treatment to other state residents. The Sikkim Manipal University was established in 1995 vide the Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences Act (Act No. 9 of 1995). The University Grants Commission recognizes SMU under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956, vide letter No. F.9-7/96(CPP-I) dated December 9, 1998, and approved by the Government of India. 

Sikkim Manipal University provides several undergraduate courses via distance learning and regular full-time learning. Courses are available in arts, science, commerce, Business and Administration, Computer Application, and other subjects. Admission to SMU Undergraduate programs is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Regular UG courses last three years, and many other courses last 4 years.

Sikkim Manipal University provides a number of PG courses via distance learning as well as regular full-time learning. Courses are available in the arts, sciences, commerce, and other professions. This university also provides PG Diploma courses in a variety of fields in addition to PG programs. The SMU PG courses are two years in length, whereas the PG Diploma courses are one year in length.

Sikkim Manipal University Application Process 2023

The application process at Sikkim Manipal University starts with filling out the admission form online. Students are advised to check their eligibility criteria and selection criteria prior to form filling.

The online application process for SMU has been started for UG and Pg courses. Candidates interested in applying for admission should go to the University’s official website to fill out the application form and pay the application fee. For all courses, the SMU application fee is INR 500. However, candidates must pay INR 500 at the time of application. The following is the Sikkim Manipal University application process for 2023:

• Go to the homepage and click ‘Admission’.
• Next, click ‘Apply Now’ to begin the online application form filling process.
• Carefully read the admission guidelines and sign the declaration. To continue filling out the application form, click ‘I agree’.
• Fill out the first page of the Sikkim Manipal University application form 2023 with your personal information, such as your name, mailing address, country, gender, guardian information, phone number, and email address. When you’re finished, click the ‘Save & Next’ Button.
• Next, put in all of the academic qualification information, beginning with Class 10 and ending with the most recent qualifying degree/exam.
• Upload all required documents in PDF Format.
• Make the payment of 500 INR via net banking, credit/debit card, UPI, etc.

Admission to all PG programs is based on academic performance in the qualifying test. There is an entrance exam which is held by the university. The University conducts an online entrance examination. Lateral Entry admissions are also accepted here.

• Students can apply for UG and PG courses that only require class 12 and graduation grades by filling out the application form
• Following that, the college will produce a merit list based on the grades received. the pupils will be chosen on their overall characteristics.
• When filling out counselling papers for courses that need entrance exam scores, students must select the Sikkim Manipal University as their alternative.
• The state rank will be used to make the selection.

Sikkim Manipal University Campus

SMU offers a wide range of course-related amenities. The classrooms are really good, but there is a large library where you expand your knowledge. Food is offered in the canteen, and you can also purchase food outside of campus. 

Sikkim Manipal University Infrastructure

The primary library at SMU, Gangtok is magnificent. It has an excellent collection of 58816 books, 18997 titles, and 2500 periodicals, as well as the following services: leading service, reference service, database searching, digital library, book bank service, question banks service, current awareness service, CD Rom and DVDs, reprographic service, newspaper clippings, Internet service, and Wi-Fi, Library internet service. EPAC is also available in the library.

The university features four hostels, two for boys and two for females, each with its own restroom, night canteen, lift, and other amenities. Boys and girls have their own mess and canteen, which serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, as well as a food court for everyone.
