Smt. Shantaben Haribhai Gajera Engineering College provides admission in five branches of the undergraduate program of engineering namely Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Although each of the programs belongs to a different department, the application form is the same for all of them. Candidates may visit the website to check the updates about the application process when then admission notifications are released by the college. Once the application form is completed, candidates may proceed to submit it with the application fee. Selection for the program will be done in two round. The second round will only be conducted only if some of the seats for the program remains vacant. Once all the seats got filled, candidates may proceed to submit the annual fee.

Candidates who are looking for admission may collect the application form from the admission department of the college. It must be noted that only those entries which are submitted before the deadline will be considered for further admission rounds.

Candidates who are looking for admission in any of the program needs to fill choices according to their interest. The college will select candidates on the basis of merit list prepared by considering the academic percentage and category of the candidates and number of vacant seats. Candidates who got selected will be notified via the seat allotment list uploaded on the official website. Once done, candidates need to take a print out of the slip while going to college. All selected candidates need to submit the fee once seats are allotted to them. Any candidate who failed to report to the campus will lose his/ her seat.

If some of the seats remain vacant even after the completion of the counselling round, the college will conduct an extra round for reshuffling of seats. Candidates who were on hold in the first round or who are want to change their allocation may register for the second round. Finally, once all the seats will get filled the college will announce admission closing. 

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates visiting the college for seat confirmation need the attested copies along with the original copies of all documents mentioned below. The original documents will be returned to the candidate once the round is completed. 

• S.S.C. Examination (Std. X) Mark-sheet,
• H.S.C. Examination (Std. XII) Mark-sheet,
• Caste certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
• GUJCET Mark-sheet,
• Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate,
• Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the competent Medical Authority/ civil Surgeon, in case the candidate is a Physically Handicapped
• A copy of the valid income certificate issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf, if applicable
• Photograph of the candidate for other State / other than Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary School Examination Board, and
• Two passport size photographs
• Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, satisfying the State Government Rules, by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
• Certificate of the Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the District Sainik Welfare Officer or by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat State,
• A copy of the certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued/ signed by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit in which he/ she is serving,
