Vallabh Vidyanagar, which is later named after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, GH Patel College of Technology GCET was originally set up on 1946. Situated in the proximity of Sardar Patel University, the place has developed its academic landscape. The admission to B.Tech Mechatronics at G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) is done on the basis of guidelines as prescribed by GTU.
