Surya Engineering College's admission process is based on mainly two factors: board exam marks and entrance exam marks. To apply for admission to Surya Engineering College, students must qualify the eligibility criteria. There are different admission criteria for different courses.

For admission into UG courses at Surya Engineering College, students must complete 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks. Also, they must appear and qualify for the TNEA exam. Surya Engineering College PG courses can be opted by students who have received 50% in their B. Tech or B.E. graduation degree. To be admitted into the SEC PG course, students must qualify for the GATE exam. For an MBA course, students must clear the CAT, MAT, or CMAT cut off.

• From the SEC homepage, select the "Apply Online" tab
• There will be a link to the GEMS application form.
• Fill out the SEC registration form with information such as your name, father's name, phone number, email address, course, class 10th and 12th grades, and other details
• Complete the form and click on submit.
