ICAR Counselling 2025 Round 1 Choice Filling Expected Date: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is set to commence the counselling process for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD admissions in September 2025. The ICAR Counselling 2025 Registration 2025 deadline is September 8, 2025. Following this, the choice filling process is expected to begin, likely after September 10 or maximum by September 14, 2025, given the anticipated 2 to 6-day gap between registration closure and choice filling.

ICAR Counselling 2025 Registration Closing Today: The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare will close the ICAR counselling 2025 registration process today, September 8, 2025. Candidates yet to participate in the counselling registration process should visit the official website- icarcounseling.com on or before 11.50 PM. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in the Science stream (40% marks in SC/ST/PwD candidates) can participate in the ICAR counselling registration process. After that, the candidates should participate in the choice filling process, and the official dates of it will be declared soon on the official website. Post that, the authority will release the ICAR counselling 2025 seat allotment result in online mode. 

The Ministry of Education has released the NIRF 2025 rankings for the top BSc Agriculture colleges on September 4, 2025. Students can visit the official website of the National Institutional Ranking Framework @nirfindia.org to check out the list of the top 50 agriculture colleges/universities in India. As per the NIRF rankings 2025, the top five BSc Agriculture institutes include ICAR Delhi, ICAR Karnal, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar.

Other than the Agriculture and Allied Sciences colleges mentioned above, as per the NIRF 2024, 2023 rankings, colleges and universities like Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, and G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology are also some of the best institutes in the field of Agriculture.

Admissions to Telangana BSc Agriculture, BFSc, BVSc & AH courses are based on the TS EAMCET (now known as the TG EAMCET) exam scores, also referred to as the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Entrance Test and the TS AGRICET 2025 exam. Students can get admission to UG courses such as Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) and Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) by appearing for these entrance tests.
