UPRTOU Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University or UPRTOU offers scholarships to deserving and meritorious students, and students belong to financially weaker backgrounds. UPRTOU Scholarships for Girl Students

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University awards scholarships to girl students taking admission into the institution. The scholarship is granted based on the academic merit of the candidate and her financial needs and background.

UPRTOU Allahabad Scholarships

This scholarship is also offered to girl students, especially those who have passed their class 12 qualifying examination but left their education due to the lack of financial support. The UPRTOU Allahabad scholarship makes sure that the students get to pursue and complete their higher education through bachelor's, master's and diploma courses. It gives the students equal opportunities as well. The eligible students will receive a minimum annual scholarship of Rs 25,000.

To avail the UPRTOU Allahabad Scholarship, candidates have to first meet the eligibility criteria: 

• For this, candidates must have a minimum of 60% in both the class 10 and 12 qualifying examinations.
• Candidates must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
• The candidate’s family annual income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.

Other Scholarships

UPRTOU also provides scholarships or freeships to eligible students belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and other socio-economic backward classes. During admission, the candidates have to show the valid certificate and documents as proof to the university.
