The Institute was established in 1983 under the vision of the Honorable Dr. D R Shekhawat, the founder of the Vidya Bharati Shaishanik Mandal. This institute is the first Pharmacy degree college in Amravati city. The Institute is one of the most reputed pharmaceutical institutions of Vidarbha that is located in the elite camp area of Amravati. The resident tutors and deputy wardens reside in the hostels and also take care of the welfare of the students.
