Each institute of VGI has its own separate computerized library and networked with others. It enables the users to on-line access for getting information on availability of required book(s). The libraries act as spinal cord of VGI with well-balanced collection of Books, Journals and E-Resources in various fields of Engineering, Management and Technology. HostelVIET Hostel & Fees Structure
VGI provides the best hostel facilities in campus separately for boys and girls. The well-furnished hostel rooms provide a comfortable stay for students. Hostels have facilities like hot and cold water supply, medical aid, electricity backup, security, Internet access and recreational facilities. The hostlers coming from different states are also grouped together to develop a culture of sharing and cooperation. To provide an environment conducive to academic and personal development, all residents are required to follow a code of conduct. At present, VGI has sufficient infrastructure to accommodate 1,100 boys and 350 girls in an academic year.
Students Activities & Clubs
Every year head hunting for sincere and deserving students to join the Pathfinder Club is carried out. Students in the committee develop their leadership, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Literary Club -
- The club publishes a monthly Newsletter – VGI Campus Buzz that showcases news, views and happenings of Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions
- A monthly wall magazine - Abhivyakti: Express yourself. Students depict their imagination through poems, drawings, essays, cartoons
- Script-writing workshops are organized
Art & Craft Club -
Art and Craft Club helps in designing the wall magazine. The students of the club beautifully decorate the stage for various cultural events: Freshers’ Party, Diwali Night, Durga Pooja Utsav, etc.
Drama Club -
- Various skits and dramas are organized throughout the semester
- Drama workshops are also organized
Photography Club -
- Students submit the photographs clicked by them. The best photographs are rewarded and displayed.
- Photography workshop are conducted on regular basis
Technical club -
- Presentations on various technical topics from different streams are given through this club
- Students show their innovativeness by inculcating new ideas, unique technical sessions and views
Robotics Club -
- This club is for 3rd & 4th year Engineering student of all branches
- Here students build real robots and perform mandated tasks
Electronics Club -
Embedded Systems can be found everywhere, right from your washing machine to all cars & rockets. Studentslearn programming in various languages and control of various machines.
