Taking the ACT exam, in order to pursue Bachelors abroad, requires students to be eligible for the exam. Students of all grades and ages are eligible for the test. However, as the ACT is designed to measure the student's readiness to enter college, it is usually taken by students who are in classes 10, 11 and 12.

  • Students in grades 6 through 9 can also apply for the test in addition to the graduates of high school.

  • Despite not possessing any eligibility criteria for the ACT, students are required to meet the course-wise eligibility criteria set by the desired college/university.

  • Since the ACT score is accepted for admission to most colleges in the US, it is generally taken by those above the age of 13 years of high school graduates.

  • Candidates who are under 13 years of age cannot create an online MyACT account. In such cases, the candidates must contact ACT Customer Support for assistance and complete the registration.

  • Students must ensure to take the ACT at least 2 months before the application deadline of the college/institution. ACT score is declared around two-eight weeks after the ACT.

  • There are no age or grade requirements to attempt the ACT exam. However, a candidate is required to have an International Debit/Credit card to register for the exam.

  • The applicant must be a valid international passport holder as it serves as valid identification proof.
