ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship Selection Process

The University will shortlist applicants based on their academic merit and eligibility criteria met by a prospective student. However, there is a defined selection process for ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarships.

First, the qualifications that have been submitted by a candidate to the university will first be converted to a common scale. This will help in ranking applicants on level ground. Candidates who submitted multiple qualifications will be assessed as per the qualification that determined their admission to the university.

Secondly, the Grade Point Average or GPA on a scale of 7.0 will be used to determine the eligible postgraduate applicant. Meanwhile, an ATAR equivalent will be used for shortlisting the undergraduate applicants.

Why Apply for ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship?

There are numerous reasons as to why one should look out for the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship. However, the benefits of the scholarship programme will differ between the 6 categories.

ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship Application Process

If you are interested in availing this scholarship opportunity, then you need not apply for the ANY Chancellor’s International Scholarship. The university will automatically consider your application once you meet the eligibility criteria. In other words, each international applicant who sends in their application for a UG or PG programme at the Australian National University will be considered for the scholarship programme.

If an international applicant is selected for a programme at the university, they will also be informed of the scholarship award on the day they receive their admission offer letter. It should also be noted that in the case of Round 3, the scholarship offers may be transferred a few days later, as well.

Students will be required to accept the academic and the scholarship offers separately, therefore, follow the instructions provided in the offer letter from ANU.
