Chandigarh University (Online) is the online learning platform of Chandigarh University, offering UG and PG programmes through its Online mode. It is accredited by the UGC-DEB (University Grants Commission Distance Education Bureau) and holds an A+ grade from NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), awarded in its first accreditation cycle. Chandigarh University is the youngest private university in India to receive an A+ grade in its first NAAC cycle, and the only state private university in Punjab with NAAC accreditation.
Chandigarh University also holds the No. 1 position among private universities in India in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, a global band of 691-700 in the QS World University Rankings 2025, and a spot among the top 20 universities in the NIRF 2024, released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Courses are delivered through a Learning Management System called CU-VERSE, offering course material, recorded lectures, live sessions, assignments, and discussion forums, with weekly live sessions for student-teacher interaction.
Programmes offered include BBA, BCA, BAJMC, MBA, MCA, MAJMC, MSc Data Science, MA, and MSc Mathematics. UG programmes run for 3 years and PG programmes run for 2 years, with fees payable on a semester, annual, or lump sum basis. A registration fee of INR 1,000 applies to all programmes, with an Early Bird Discount of 10% to 25%.
