BRAOU Hyderabad Scholarship 2026
BRAOU Hyderabad scholarships are offered to interested candidates who need assistance and hold merit. In addition to scholarships, the university financially supports scholars through various fellowship and award programmes. The scholarships for UG and PG students provide financial assistance to scholars while also rewarding academic performance. BRAOU Hyderabad provides various scholarship programmes, such as Post Matric Scholarships, to students from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward classes. The scholarships at BRAOU Hyderabad are offered to the students in three different forms, such as -
- Fee Waiver Programme: The state government has initiated a fee waiver programme to assist economically disadvantaged but deserving students. More information about this is available from the Registrar's office.
- Education Loans: Getting an education is no longer an impossibility these days. Education loans at reasonable interest rates are available from Nationalized Banks to needy and deserving students. These loans are repayable once the degree/diploma is completed.
- Financial Assistance: This programme assists academically gifted and financially disadvantaged students obtain a higher education by waiving tuition fees. Merit position holders in qualifying examinations/competitive examinations also receive tuition fee reductions—those who have achieved a high ranking in the university examinations. The parents of deserving students are honoured alongside the students at the university's annual functions.
These awards are named after the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University professors who worked and guided the students in that particular discipline.

The course is offered in the online or part-time mode to the candidates. The minimum duration of the offered course is 3 years. The candidates do not have to appear in any entrance exam to become eligible for this course.
