Indus University Scholarships

Indus University scholarships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The university helps students avail of scholarship schemes provided by the Gujrat government Central Government and other private institutions. Indus University scholarships are provided to students who have excelled in academics. Additionally, students with financial needs can apply for different types of government schemes. To apply for scholarships offered by the university, students must visit the campus and fill out the application form. Students must remember only those who meet eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarships offered at Indus University

Indus University Scholarship Types

There are two types of scholarships offered at Indus University, private and government scholarships. POSCO offers merit-based scholarships to B.Tech students. Government schemes such as Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY) and Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PMUSP) Yojana are provided to UG and PG students. Apart from that need-based scholarships by the government are also offered.

Children of LabourerChildren admitted to any programme after Class 12 whose parents are labourers possessing a Labour Card.

The Indus University courses list does not have any distance learning courses. All the courses offered by the university are in regular full-time/ part-time mode. The Indus School of Management Studies offers a PhD in Commerce programme in the regular mode. Students who have a post graduate degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks from a recognised university may apply for this programme. They also need to take the IURAT exam conducted by Indus University to be eligible for the selection process. However, students whp have passed the UGC NET/ CSIR NET or have an M.Phil degree in a relevant field are exempted from the entrance test. The application fee for the PhD Commerce programme is Rs 1,500. Moreover, the Indus University course fee for PhD in Commerce is Rs 65,000 per year (full-time) and Rs 55,500 (part-time).
