Karnavati University (KU) admission for 2026 is now open for most undergraduate and postgraduate courses. As of March 2026, applications are currently open for B.Tech (UIT), MBA (UIM), KUAT-based courses like BBA, BA, B.Sc, B.Com, and LLB, as well as PhD (January 2026 batch). The general category application window for B.Des at UID is closed for the 2026–27 session, but NRI and Management quota applications are still open.

Karnavati University, located in Uvarsad, Gandhinagar, offers more than 100+ courses in fields like Engineering, Design, Management, Law, Mass Communication, Psychology, and Film. These programmes are offered through its different schools, such as UIT, UID, UIM, UWSL, UICA, UIBS, and The Winchie Film School. All courses are conducted on-campus in Gandhinagar. The university does not have any affiliated colleges or distance learning options, all programmes are full-time.

Admissions at Karnavati University are completely entrance-based, and there is no direct admission for any course. Depending on the programme, students need to appear for exams like JEE Main or GUJCET for B.Tech, KUAT for courses like BBA, BA, B.Sc, B.Com, and Law, UID DAT for B.Des/M.Des, CAT or CMAT for MBA, and NEET UG/PG for BDS/MDS. Karnavati University B.Tech Admission Process 

Regular B.Tech programs require JEE or GUJCET. B.Tech (Hons.) does not require these exams, only your 12th class PCM marks are considered.

• Check the eligibility: for core B.Tech, you need at least 70% in PCM in 12th and 60 percentile in JEE Main or GUJCET. For B.Tech (Hons.), you only need 55% in PCM, and no JEE or GUJCET is required.
• Fill the online application form on the official website using your own email ID
• Verify your email and complete the form with personal and academic details
• Upload required documents and pay Rs. 2,000 application fee
• Submit the form and save your application number
• Upload JEE/GUJCET score (if applicable)
• Shortlisted students are called for a Personal Interview (PI)

Karnavati University BBA Admission Process

BBA admission at Karnavati University is done through KUAT, UGAT, or CUET. The same process applies to all BBA programs, including the regular 9-elective course and the industry tracks.
