All the courses offered at Karnavati University are full-time regular programmes offered under UID (Design), UIM (Management), UWSL (Law), USLM (Lib. Arts & Mass Comm.), UIT (Institute of Technology), Karnavati School of Research and KSD (Dentistry) at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.

Karnavati University does not offer admission in any courses to students immediately after passing the Class 10th exam. Apart from that they need to clear the KUAT and appear for the personal interview.

Karnavati University does not offer any free seats, however, up to 100% scholarships are offered to top 20 candidates in the KUAT exam. For the rest, candidates must compulsorily clear JEE Main/GUJCET/KUAT for B.Tech admission, UID Admission Test for B.Des and M.Des, NEET for BDS and MDS and KUAT for B.A. (Hons.), B.Com. (Hons.),B.Sc. (Hons.) Psychology, BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB (Hons.), BBA (Hons.), BSc (Hons.), and Integrated BSc + MSc (Cyber Security) followed by personal interview process. Merit scholarships are available for students in the BBA LLB, B.Sc and BA programmes.

Yes, Karnavati University accepts Class 12th marks for admission in its undergraduate programmes. Candidates who have obtained an aggregate score of 60% marks in Class 12 are eligible for admission in B.Tech courses along with obtaining a valid score in JEE Main/GUJCET/KUAT. For other courses, the minimum eligibility criteria was that candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 followed by clearing the KUAT and personal interview session.

Karnavati University admission is based on entrance exams. Candidates must meet the Karnavati University cut off based on KUAT scores to secure a seat in the university.
