Manipur University Admissions 2024: NTA has released the tentative schedule for CUET UG 2024 and CUET PG 2024. Manipur University was established on June 5, 1980, under the Manipur University Act 1980. The application process for Manipur University is totally online. There is a separate admission portal for the smooth and hassle-free conduction of the application process. Interested students must follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the Manipur University application process:

Manipur University conducts its own entrance exam (MUET) for admission to different courses. Manipur University offers placement assistance to its students. It has a well-functioning placement cell that conducts theplacement process every year. As per the NIRF 2023 report, around 289 students were placed during Manipur University campus placement in 2023. The average package offered to PG students was Rs 6.9 to 8.20 LPA.

Manipur University Scholarship is offered to PhD students in the form of fellowships. The students who have passed the UGC/CSIR/National (OBC/SC/ST)/Inspire Fellowships examinations receive fellowships directly from the UGC/CSIR/Concern Ministry. Manipur university scholarship is also awarded to meritorious students (one student from each PG course offered by the university's departments). For the first year, the scholarship is based on the highest marks obtained during the admission test to the PG programmes, and for the second year, it is based on the marks obtained in the first year.

Manipur University also offers financial aid to needy students. The university has opened an account in the name of the ‘MU Financial Assistance Fund' for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the highly needy and deserving PG students of the University.
