The admission to all the BTech courses at Manipal University is through the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) which is held at various centers in India.

General Category: Admissions in BTech at Manipal University will be done on the basis of rank obtained in the All India Manipal Entrance Test - MET 2022.

Foreign/NRI Category: Applicants belonging to the Foreign/NRI Category may apply for admission on the basis of the marks obtained in any of the qualifying examinations.

Note: The candidates can apply both under General & Foreign/ NRI categories. The change of category from Foreign/ NRI to General after admission will not be considered under any circumstances.

Academic Requirements: Applicant should have passed 10+2 / A Level / IB / American 12th or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects and Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subject as optional. To apply for admissions in BTech program at Manipal University, the applicant has to fill BTech online application form 2022 from the official website of the university. And to secure the admission in Manipal University, the student must register for MET (Manipal Entrance Test) exam. MET Instructions & Exam Pattern:-

Test Slot Booking & e-hall tickets scheme

• MET (Manipal Entrane Test) is an online test. The applicant has to login to the online test booking system (OTBS) with OTBS User Id. Application Number & the OTBS password will be emailed to the applicant's registered email id.

• Booking for the MET 2022 is done on the basis of first-come-first-serve with the availability of the subject slot.

• Once the test slot is booked, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.

• The applicant can only avail OTBS by fulfilling the requirements of the application form in all aspects.

• OTBS will be activated after the last date submission of the application form.

• On completion of the slot booking, OTBS can generate the e-hall ticket and a duplicate of the e-Hall ticket is emailed to the applicant registered email id.

• An applicant will not be permitted to appear for the test without a valid e-hall ticket.

• A hard copy of MET hall ticketmust be presented at the time of counseling/admission
