Manipal Institute of Technology admission 2025 to courses is based on the entrance exam as well as performance in the last qualifying exam. The university conducts the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) with counselling in mid-April, with possible extensions. It also accepts KCET, GATE, Karnataka PGCET, and KMAT scores. The fee structure ranges from Rs 1,50,000 to Rs 14,11,000 per year. For M.Sc. programs, the last application dates vary: M.Sc. (Medical) by May 28, M.Sc. Forensic Science by June 10, and M.Sc. August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.
August 25, 2025The GATE 2026 registration has been postponed to August 28, 2025. Regular applications close on September 28, with late submissions accepted until October 9. Exams will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, and results on March 19.
About Manipal Institute of Technology
MIT Manipal was established in 1957 and is a constituent institute of Manipal University. It became a constituent institute of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Manipal University) in 2000. MIT Manipal courses include undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA in various disciplines. For B.Tech and M.Tech courses, MIT Manipal admissions are made through MET, and for MCA selection is done based on merit.
