The Academy of Business and Engineering Science (ABES), popularly known as ABES Engineering College, is a privately funded engineering college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The college was founded in 2000. It is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), previously known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University in Lucknow.

ABES Engineering College has 12 departments offering engineering programs at UG and PG levels. The College offers an undergraduate program, i.e., B.Tech, in eight different specializations. There are three postgraduate programs, namely MCA, MBA, and M.Tech The College also provides lateral entry admission to the B.Tech program. ABES Engineering College admission to all the UG and PG courses is entrance and merit-based. Admission to each program at ABES Engineering College is made in two ways: by counselling or through management quota. Scholarship Policies of ABES Engineering College

B.Tech

ABES Engineering College Scholarships are available to deserving candidates seeking admission to the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering programs on a case-by-case basis.

MBA

Note

1. Number of scholarships is five – it is applicable for serial No. 1 and 2 separately.
2. Only one scholarship will be applicable at a time for college students.
3. Only if the student maintains a 70 % or higher average of two semesters in passing sessions will the scholarship be renewed in consecutive years.

Admission Enquiry in ABES Engineering College

The ABES Engineering College course admissions for B.Tech are based on the JEE Main scores. The JEE Main 2023 result for session 1 was announced on February 7, 2023. Moreover, the registrations for JEE Main 2023 session 2 have also started on February 7, 2023. The JEE Main 2023 session 2 exams will be held from April 6, 2023, to April 12, 2023. Candidates aspiring for B.Tech seat at the college must apply by fulfilling the ABES Engineering College admission criteria and apply for the exams before the last dates. 

Suppose any candidate wishes to be admitted to the UG program of ABES Engineering College B-Tech, which has four years, they need to fulfill a few eligibility criteria. Those are:

• The candidate needs to pass 10+2 with any of the three mentioned subjects: physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, electronics, information technology, biology, informatics practices, biotechnology, technical vocational subject, agriculture, engineering graphics, and business studies and entrepreneurship.
• The candidate should obtain at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects. 
• If the previous criteria are unavailable, then the candidate needs to pass a minimum three years diploma examination with at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
• If a candidate desires to enroll in the three years UG program of B-Tech (Lateral Entry to 2nd year) at ABES Engineering College, they must meet a few qualifying requirements. Those are:
• The candidate should pass a minimum of three years / two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45 % marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.
• If the candidate passes B.Sc. Degree from any recognized university that should be defined by UGC and need to score at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and pass 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject, those are eligible to apply.
• Any students who pass D.Voc and have the same or allied sector stream can apply here.

Eligibility for MCA

To be admitted to MCA’s two-year duration PG program, one needs to have a few eligibility criteria. Those are:

• The student should pass BCA or the Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.
• If the student passed any of the following degrees - B.Sc, B.Com, B. A with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned university) can be eligible to apply for the program.
• Along with that, the student needs to obtain at least 50 % marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination in ABES Engineering College MCA.

Eligibility for MBA

To enroll for the two-year duration PG program of ABES Engineering College MBA, the student must fulfill the given criteria below. Those are:

• The students need to pass a bachelor's degree of minimum of three years duration.
• Besides the above criteria, the interested students should obtain at least 50 % marks (45 % marks in case of students belonging to any reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Eligibility for M-Tech 

If any student wants to pursue their higher studies in the PG program of ABES Engineering College M-Tech, which has two years, they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. If the student wishes to take admission through counselling, eligibility will help the student. Those are:

• The student should pass the previous degree course, a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 % marks or equivalent CGPA for General & OBC candidate (45 % for SC/ST).
• The student with a valid GATE score shall be admitted on a preferential basis.
• To enroll in M-Tech (CSE), the student needs to pass B.E or B-Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or CSE or CS&IT or MCA.
• To enroll in M-Tech (ECE), the student needs to pass B.E. or B-Tech in Electronics & Comm. Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Instrument Engineering.
