Admissions at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering

DJSCE admission process usually starts in the month of June at UG and PG level. DJSCE College offers various courses at the UG, PG and Doctoral level. The session starts in the month of July every year. The candidates who are looking for admissions can apply online at the website of DTE Maharashtra.

The details of admission are provided on the college website or on the DTE Maharashtra website. Interested applicants have to fill the application form based on MHT-CET/JEE-Main scores and upload the required documents with it. The required documents are 12th mark sheet, transfer certificate, MHT-CET scorecard, domicile certificate, category certificate(only for reserved categories), JEE Main scorecard. After successful submission of application and document verification, merit list will be displayed and the competent authority will conduct the CAP rounds for seat allotments.

DJSCE B.E Admissions Eligibility 2019​

The college grants admission to candidates belonging to Maharashtra, all India candidature and NRI/ OC/ PIO candidates.

Candidates belonging to Maharashtra state must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in a relevant discipline (45% for reserved and PH categories) from an authorized institute. The candidate should have obtained a non zero score in MHT-CET conducted by the competent authority.

Along with that, the candidate is eligible based on the following types. Please note that a candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra state candidature type as mentioned below.

1. Candidates who are having either domicile of Maharashtra and/or are born in Maharashtra.

2. Candidates whose Father or Mother are domiciled in Maharashtra and possess a domicile certificate.

3. Candidates whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP.

4. Candidates whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra undertaking are eligible for admission.

All India candidature candidates and Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidature candidates should have passed 12th with at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in all subjects taken together. The candidate should have a non zero score in JEE Main or MHT-CET exam conducted by the competent authority. However, preference will be given to candidates with a non zero score in JEE Main over the candidates who obtained a non zero score in CET.

Reservation (almost 50%) of engineering seats is provided to backward and reserved categories.

DJSCE B.E Admissions Application Process 2019

Interested applicants with valid MHT CET/JEE Main scores can fill the application form online for B.Tech admission in Maharashtra through the official website of DTE Maharashtra. The candidates, who are having valid MHT CET score need not to register on the official website for counseling and can login with the MHT CET login credentials to register for Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

The candidates with a valid JEE Main score must register on the official website of DTE Maharashtra and can submit the application form for CAP by login with those credentials. The candidates have to pay the CAP fee after the successful submission of application form. The fee is INR 800 for general category, INR 600 for reserved category and Rs 5,000 for NRI/ OCI/ PIO. The candidates must visit the facilitation center with the printout of filled-in application form and the required documents for verification.

The candidates are required to fill an option entry form on the official website of DTE after the release of final merit list.DTE will release the list of the colleges, B.Tech courses and seats on its website. Candidates can fill multiple numbers of options and must confirm the option entry form.

If the candidates are allotted colleges as per their first preference filled in option entry form, they will have to report to the reporting centre for confirmation of admission. If the college is not allotted to candidates as per their first preference, the candidate will have a chance to reject the allotment and can participate in the next round of CAP.

The candidate must report to the respective college with all the required documents after their confirmation on the reporting centre. The admission process will complete after fee payment.

Candidates aspiring for admission under institutional quota, vacant seats after CAP, foreign national candidates, it is mandatory for them to get the documents validated at facilitation center.

DJSCE M.E Admissions Eligibility 2019

The college offers Master of Engineering (M. E) at the postgraduate level with multiple specializations.

 The admission of Maharashtra candidature candidates and All India candidature candidates in M.E course is based on  obtaining at least 50% marks(at least 45% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in bachelors degree in relevant field of engineering and technology or pharmacy or architecture. The candidate should also have a non zero score positive score in GATE exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.

The sponsored candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational and/or research institute/any Government in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

DJSCE M.E Admissions Application Process 2019

The interested applicants can do online registration of application and upload the required documents on DTE Maharashtra website. After successful submission of application, the candidates have to visit the facilitation centre with a print out of filled application and required documents for verification. The DTE will release final merit list of the Maharashtra State/All India candidates on the website.

After releasing the final merit list, candidates have to fill the option entry form with the multiple preferences of colleges. Once the candidate has confirmed the option form, the preferences cannot be edited.

The candidates who have been allotted colleges as per their first preference, they need to visit the reporting center for confirmation of admission. Applicants who have not got colleges as per their first preference, they can participate in subsequent rounds of CAP.

After visiting RC, candidates have to visit the respective college with the required documents and submit the fee for successful completion of the admission process.

For institutional quota seats, supernumerary seats for OCI/ PIO, Foreign students and the children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries, the candidates shall initially apply to the competent authority for verification of documents and then to the respective college. Admission will be given to the eligible candidates on the basis of Inter-Se-Merit.
