Final Bachelor's degree level exams:
Students who wish to apply to the various post-graduate courses at IIM Kolkata can do so only if they have secured a minimum percentage of 55% in aggregate marks.

Candidate must have completed his graduation in any stream from a recognized university / institute.

In case the degree-awarding has a CGPA system of grading, IIMC considers the equivalent percentage as calculated by the procedure of the awarding institution. If there is no such procedure in the institution, IIMC follows its own procedure of calculating the equivalent percentage from a candidate's CGPA.
IIM Calcutta shortlists candidates on the basis of the CAT score and academic score. There is a different criterion to evaluate performance at every level. A cutoff is determined for the composite score and it is then used to shortlist students for PI. The shortlisted students will be invited to appear for the Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

Candidates interested in taking admission to the Executive MBA programme at IIM Calcutta must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below.
Candidate must have completed a 3-year bachelor's degree course (10 + 2 + 3 years of formal education) in any stream.

PGPEx-VLM programme at IIMC is offered by the institute under a joint initiative with IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras. The programme aims to create leaders in the manufacturing sector and develop the managerial skills of candidates who have sound technical knowledge.
The eligibility criteria for admission to the PGPEx-VLM course is given below.
