For Admission in PGDM

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta offers the two-year residential Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). For admission in PGDM candidate needs to clear CAT or GMAT.

Stage 2: Evaluation of shortlisted candidates on the basis of composite scores

Composite scores are calculated on the basis of CAT score, Class 10 and 12 board aggregate percentages along with gender diversity factor.

A cutoff is determined for the composite score and it is then used to shortlist students for PI. The shortlisted students will be invited to appear for the Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

IIM Calcutta Final Selection Process 2019 for PGD:

There are various components that are considered for shortlisting candidates that will be admitted to the PGD courses offered by IIM Calcutta. Following are the components based on which a candidate’s performance is evaluated:

Work Experience: Maximum 4 points are awarded for work experience that depends on the duration of service. Only those candidates who have a managerial level of work experience after graduation are awarded points. Indian Institute of Management PGDM Admission 2019

Eligibility for PGDM 

  • The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD)
  • The candidate may possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply. the candidate is required to produce certificates and mark sheets in original together with the photocopies.

 

 

For Admission in MIB

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta offers 2-year flagship PGP program CEMS Masters in International Management degree (CEMS MIM). CEMS MIM is a program offered to students who are enrolled for the Post Graduate Program at IIMC. Candidates will be assessed based on the application and other supporting documents along with a personal assessment interview.

  •  Minimum CGPA of 6.0 upto Term 1 of the PGP Program.

For Admission in PGPEx

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta offers One Year Residential Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEX) and Post Graduate Programme for Executives for Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLM). For PGPEX admission is through GMAT and For PGPEX - VLM there is a Separate Aptitude Test taken by IITC.

Indian Institute of Management PGPEx Admission 2019

Eligibility for PGPEX 

  • Executives with a bachelor's degree (minimum 10+2+3 years of formal education) or equivalent in any discipline and more than 5 years of post-qualification managerial/professional work experience may apply.
  • A valid GMAT score (taken within last 36 months of application date) is also required.

Eligibility for PGPEX-VLM 

  • A First-Class Graduate Engineers with First Division/ First Class Marks from SLC/ Madhyamik
  • Self-sponsored candidates- Minimum 4.5 to maximum 10 years of work experience in manufacturing, engineering and related sector; holding responsibilities in production planning and control, research, design and development, quality control, plant engineering, maintenance, supply chain, construction etc.
  • Sponsored candidates need to have the minimum of 4.5 years of work experience. There is no upper limit of experience.
