Candidates who are interested in applying for the undergraduate engineering course at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology have to fulfil the B.Tech eligibility criteria of KIIT. They must have either completed class 12th in the previous year or be appearing for the board exams in the same year. It is mandatory for them to have done their higher secondary education in the full time regular mode and in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The students must have received a minimum of 60 per cent marks in these compulsory subjects taken together.
For taking admission in B.Tech at KIIT through the lateral entry option, the student must have a diploma in engineering in a relevant branch with at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate. The duration of the diploma course must be three years and it should be approved by the State Council of Technical Education from any state. The candidate’s age should be 24 years or below.

Candidates who seek admission to the courses of B.Sc at KIIT need to qualify the eligibility criteria for B.Sc that the institute has specified. KIIT offers the course of B.Sc with two specialisations, Nursing and Computer Science. For being eligible for B.Sc Nursing at KIIT, the students must have completed their higher secondary education under a recognised board in the regular mode. It is mandatory for the student to belong to the science stream with English, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. For being eligible for B.Sc Computer Science at KIIT, the candidates should have done class 12th in the science stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. KIIT B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) Selection Process 2020
KIIT selects students for the B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Computer Science programmes on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam of KIITEE. The applicants who clear the eligibility criteria for B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Computer Science at KIIT will have to appear for the KIITEE exam and based on their scores in KIITEE, they will then be selected for final admission to the course.

KIIT M.Tech (Master of Technology) Selection Process 2020
The selection of candidates for M.Tech at KIIT is done through the entrance exam conducted by the institute. The candidates who have qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) will be given preference in the process of selection for M.Tech. Moreover, these applicants who have qualified GATE and have a score of 400 or above need not give the entrance examination. The final selection of candidates for M.Tech at KIIT is done on the basis of their score in the entrance exam or in GATE.

For being eligible for the M.A. courses offered at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, the students must meet the KIIT M.A. eligibility criteria for the particular specialisation in which they seek admission. The candidate must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline from a university or institute that is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The aggregate marks scored by the candidate at the graduation level must not be any less than 50 per cent or an equivalent CGPA. Those students who apply for admission to M.A. in Economics at KIIT must have done their graduation with Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics as one of their subjects.
For MCA
KIIT M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications) Eligibility Criteria 2020
For admission to M.C.A. at KIIT, the student must be a graduate with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in graduation when taken in aggregate. The student must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at either the 10 + 2 level or the graduation level. The university from which the student completes graduation must be recognised by the UGC. Only if the student meets these eligibility criteria of M.C.A. at KIIT, will he/ she be permitted to the further rounds of the selection process for admission to the course. If a candidate seeks admission in MCA through the option of lateral entry, he/ she must have cleared or be appearing for the final undergraduate exams in the same academic year. In this case, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA or B.Sc in IT (Information Technology) or Computer Science from any university recognised by the UGC. The applicant must also have passed in Mathematics at the 10 + 2 or graduate level. The subject of Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted and the candidate must have obtained at least 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination.
For MSc
KIIT M.Sc (Master of Science) Eligibility Criteria 2020
The eligibility criteria for M.Sc. admissions at KIIT state that the candidate must have completed graduation in a field relevant to that of the M.Sc specialisation for which the candidate has applied. For M.Sc in Biotechnology or Applied Microbiology, which is a three-year long course, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Agriculture/ Science/ Pharmacy/ Engineering/ Veterinary/ Technology/ Medicine (BDS/ MBBS) with no less than 55 per cent marks when taken in aggregate. For M.Sc in Nursing, that has a duration of two years, the applicant should be a registered midwife or a registered nurse or its equivalent with the approval from the Nursing Registration Council of any state. The minimum education requirement for this course is that the candidate should have completed B.Sc.Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or B.Sc. (Honours) Nursing with at least 55 per cent aggregate marks. (5 per cent relaxation is given to the SC/ST candidates). They should also have work experience of at least one year after completing Basic B.Sc Nursing and should be medically fit.
For pursuing M.Sc in Computer Science from KIIT, the candidates must have the degree of B.Sc in Computer Science/ IT (Information Technology)/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Electronics/ Chemistry/ BCA with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks.
For LLM
KIIT LL.M. (Master of Law) Eligibility Criteria 2020
For getting admission to the one year long postgraduate course of LL.M at KIIT, the candidate must have completed his/ her graduation in any course of Bachelor of Law. These courses include B.A. LLB, B.Sc LL.B, B.B.A. LL.B, or LL.B. The university or institute from which the student has completed graduation must be recognised by the concerned agencies and the aggregate marks scored by the student at the undergraduate level should not be less than 55 per cent or an equal CGPA. Candidates interested in applying for M.B.A. from KIIT are required to satisfy the eligibility criteria as set by KIIT. Given below are the conditions that need to be met in order to ensure admission M.B.A.
The aspirant must possess a bachelor's degree with a 15 years education or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
The minimum aggregate secured by the candidate must be 50% or its equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final semester examination in the Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for the course, given that they provide all the necessary documents of graduation before June 30, 2020.

KIIT M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration) Selection Process 2020
The KIIT school of management conducts a fixed procedure to select the candidates for pursuing the M.B.A. course. The students are firstly selected based on their performance in XAT/CAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT/KIITEE. They further have to appear for a Group Discussion (GD) process and a personal interview. The college conducts Group Discussion (GD) in the Banglore, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Jamshedpur and Bhubaneswar. The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the performance in the GD (group discussion) and PI (personal interview).
