Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being held by the Ministry of Education (MoE) for admission to all UG programmes in all Central Universities, as well as certain State and Private Universities, for the academic year 2023-24. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide candidates from all over the country, particularly those from rural and other remote areas, with a common platform and equal opportunities.

CUET UG 2023 registration process was in progress online and the last date to submit the application form 2023 was April 11, 2023. According to the official schedule released by NTA, the CUET exam 2023 is being conducted from May 21- June 2, and on June 5 & 6, 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 day 2 exam on May 22. About CUET

CUET Eligibility Criteria 2023
There is no upper age limit for candidates taking the CUET UG.
Candidates who have passed or are scheduled to take the class 12th/equivalent examination in 2023, regardless of their age, are eligible to take the CUET (UG).
However, the Candidates must meet the age requirements (if any) of the university(ies) to which they wish to apply.
If the candidates have cleared the 12th exam or are waiting for the result then they are also eligible for this test.
CUET is mandatory for all students who want to be admitted to Central/State or Private University for pursuing graduation. From 2023, CUET has been made mandatory for the 45 central universities.
Admission to Top CUET Universities In India
The Admission Process through CUET takes place through the Entrance Exam followed by Merit List and Counseling. The details are mentioned below:
Application Process and Entrance Exam for CUET: Admissions are based on the results of the CUET entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For appearing in the entrance test, interested candidates must complete the registration process and fill out the application form correctly according to their course preferences.
CUET Merit List: Once the entrance exam is conducted, a merit list of candidates who qualify in the exam is prepared. On the basis of the merit list, they are notified to appear for the counseling process for the allocation of seats in colleges. If a candidate, who is awarded admission to one of the colleges remains absent during the next counseling session, the seat is awarded to the next eligible candidate in the merit list.
CUET Counseling: Each university will release its individual rank of list of candidates who will be eligible to participate in CUET Counseling process. After registering online, candidates have to appear in the counseling session. Upon seat allotment, candidates have to pay admission pay and secure a seat.
As we have mentioned, admission to top universities in India (Central, State and Private) is done through CUET. Candidates must ensure to check the details and eligibility criteria on the University’s website. After clearing the CUET exam, candidates are required to follow the admission process to grab a seat in their respective universities.
