Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Pune provides admission in various full time and part-time management programs including MBA, MBA(Executive) and PGDM(Executive). Admission to the programs will be done on the basis of scores in any of the management entrance exam such as CAT/ SIMS/ GATE/ MAT/ XAT. Besides this, the institute conducts SNAP, a common entrance exam for those who haven’t appeared for any of the exams. SIMS Pune will conduct personal interview for those who cleared the first round successfully. Final selection will be done once the admission process is completed. The requisite eligibility criteria for MBA programmes at SIMS are as under:
– A Candidate should be a graduate or a post graduate from a statutory university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Students appearing in their final year degree examination can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks overall at qualifying exam. Defence category candidate should be ward of Defence Personnel as mentioned under categories.

Candidates looking at pursuing MBA from SIMS need to register for the SNAP test. Then they will have to pay SNAP fee and after paying the fee, they will get the admit card to appear for the SNAP test.

Once the results of the SNAP test are out, candidates are shortlisted and the shortlisted ones go through the PI and WAT process. After completion of the PI and the WAT process, a merit list and a waitlist will be prepared. After that, the candidates who have been selected are issued offer letters, and they will have to pay the fee to secure admission in the MBA programme at SIMS.

The eligibility criteria for PGDM are graduates/architects/engineers with minimum 50% marks in a qualifying exam from a recognized university. Those who are in the final year of examinations are also eligible to apply but they will need to score minimum 50% marks.

Candidates may check the application process mentioned below while filling the registration form.

Applicants need to apply for SNAP(Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) once the application is released. SNAP Fee is INR 1750/-(Non-Refundable). Candidates may submit the application fee through any of the payment methods including i) Billdesk Payment Gateway ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway iii) Indian Bank Gateway iv) Demand Draft. 

While registering for SNAP, the applicant has to also apply for SIMS in the same application form. A programme fee of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) is to be paid to SIMS for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply.

Note: 

The programme fee and SNAP test fee is non-refundable. Candidates who are submitting the application fee through demand fee must note that the demand draft should reach the Symbiosis Test Secretariat by 5:00 pm on November 23, 2019. Candidates will also have to attach the documents along with the application form including PG/ PG Diploma certificate/ mark sheet, HSC certificate/ mark sheet, SSC certificate/ mark sheet, Graduation mark sheet/ certificate, CAT/ SNAP/ XAT/ MAT/ GATE scorecard, any other relevant certificate, photograph,work experience certificate/s,if applicable For the interview, students must carry at least one set of documents [in photo copy] & originals.

SIMS Pune MBA(Full Time) Selection Process 2020

Candidates must have appeared for any of the management entrance exams including CAT/ SIMS/ GATE/ MAT/ XAT/ SNAP. Selection will be done on the basis of objective evaluation by the panel. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies will then call the candidates for the personal interview. Finally, the candidates who got selected will receive Admission Confirmation Letter which grants the admission of the candidates. 

Candidates must have cleared a bachelor degree from any of the recognised/ statutory university with at least 50% marks with at least 5 years of work experience as on May 31, 2020.

Candidates who wanst to apply for the program need to register themselves after downloading the application form from the official website of SIMS, Pune,  www.sims.edu/pgpm. Once then they can take a printout and then submit the application form with supporting documents and application fee of Rs.1000/-. The application fee can be submitted online through Net Banking / DD in favour of “Director, SIMS” payable at Pune. The application process will starts on 1 st September 2019 and will end on 20th April 2020.

SIMS Pune Executive PGDM Selection Process 2020

Candidates who have applied for the program will be selected on the basis of the personal interaction round conducted by SIMS Pune.

Any professional/ executive who is applying for admission must have cleared a bachelor degree from any of the Statutory University or any other recognized Foreign University with at least 50% marks with at least two years of work experience after graduation.

Candidates who are applying for the program need to fill all the mandatory details mentioned in the application form. The application form will be uploaded on the official website of SIMS once the admission process begins. The application fee for the program is INR 1500 which need to be submitted while submitting the application form.
