SVNIT Surat admission 2024 to the B.Tech courses is done on the basis of JEE Main 2024. The JEE Main 2024 results for session 2 paper 1 has been released on the official website of NTA on April 24, 2024. Interested candidates with JEE Main 2024 scores can register for the JoSAA counselling process from June 10, 2024 onwards. Applicants opting for SVNIT M.Tech admissions must hold a valid GATE score card. Applicants seeking admission in the SVNIT Surat B.Tech programmes must have cleared Class 12 from the science stream (Non-Medical/ Medical). Applicants must have physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class 12. Apart from this, applicants must have appeared for the JEE Main for SVNIT Surat admission in B.Tech courses. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST or any other reservation categories will be provided with a 5% relaxation in the total percentage required.

Applicants can follow the steps mentioned here to fill out the SVNIT Surat application form. The application form for the programme must be submitted before the last date or the applicants will have to submit a late fine along with the application fee. Applicants will have to visit the official website of the JoSAA and register for JoSAA counselling. Once SVNIT Surat is allotted to candidates they need to visit the official website of the college and then fill out the SVNIT Surat application form.

The college gives admission in B.Tech courses based on candidate's scores in JEE Main. For SVNIT Surat B.Tech admission, applicants need to obtain a valid score in JEE Main and register for JoSAA counselling. 

Candidates seeking SVNIT Surat admission in M.Tech programmes must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate or an equivalent CGPA. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST or any other reservation categories must have scored a minimum of 55% marks aggregate in the respective branch of BE/ B.Tech degree programme. Candidates must also have a valid GATE score card.

Applicants need to download the SVNIT application form available on the official website and fill it with all the required details mentioned in the application form. While submitting the NIT Surat application form, applicants will have to pay the application fee. The application fee is Rs. 1000 for general/ OBC and Rs. 500 for SC/ ST candidates. The SVNIT application fees can be sent through a demand draft sent to ‘The Registrar, SVNIT Surat, Ichchhanath, Surat-395007’.

Students who have applied for SVNIT Surat M.Tech admission will be selected on the basis of scores in the GATE. Applicants will then have to appear for the counselling process on the specified date. Additionally, the applicants need to carry the necessary documents such as a work experience certificate, educational qualification certificates, birth certificate and a sponsorship certificate. If an applicant fails to carry any of the documents, then SVNIT Surat admission is likely to be cancelled.

SVNIT Surat M.Sc (Integrated) Application Process

Applicants will have to download the SVNIT Surat application form available on the official website. Applicants will then have to fill out the SVNIT online application form with the required details mentioned in the application form. After completing the application form, applicants can proceed to submit it. During the NIT Surat admission process, applicants will have to pay the application fee to submit the SVNIT Surat admission form.

SVNIT Surat M.Sc Integrated Selection Criteria

Candidates who have applied for any of the Integrated M.Sc programmes will be selected on the basis of their percentage in JEE Main. The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a merit list prepared using the JEE main scores. While preparing the SVNIT Surat merit list, along with JEE Main ranks, weightage is given to students' category and state of domicile.
