TCE Madurai Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Thiagarajar College of Engineering admissions usually begin from April onwards and the courses begin in June/July every year. The candidates who are looking forward to admissions in the various courses at TCE will have to fill in the application form in the online or offline mode. After the application process is over, the candidates will have to appear for the entrance exams such as NATA, TANCET/GATE. Reservations are there for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/BC/MBC as per the rules of the government of Tamil Nadu.

TCE Madurai BE/B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates who are seeking admission in the BE/B. Tech program should have completed 10+2 by the Department of education, the government of Tamil Nadu.

TCE Madurai BE/B.Tech Application Process 2019

Interested candidates will have to fill the application form by offline or online mode. The registration form is available on the TCE website and candidates will have to pay Rs. 1000 as the application fee. Candidates will have to submit a DD in favor of “The Principal, Thiagarajar College of Engineering” payable at Madurai. At the time of submission of the registration form, candidates will need to submit the required documents of class 10th and 12th mark sheets, domicile certificate, id proof, and six recent passport size photos.

TCE BE/B.Tech Selection Process 2019

Admission to the BE/B. Tech course at TCE is done through the single window system of Anna University. Candidates are free to choose the courses on the basis of the state-wise rank calculated with their marks in the Higher Secondary Exam conducted by the Department of Education, the government of Tamil Nadu.

TCE Madurai B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 2019

For TCE B.Arch admission, candidates should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks as aggregate, having mathematics as a subject of study and the candidate must have appeared for the NATA entrance test. Previously NATA was conducted once every year, but from the current session the exam would be conducted twice a year - first on April 14, 2019, and the second on July 7, 2019. Candidates will be able to take one or both the attempts of NATA 2019. If the candidate appears in both attempts, then the best of the two scores will be considered. The eligibility criteria of NATA 2019 have also been changed, with diploma candidates currently no longer eligible for admission. 

TCE Madurai B.Arch Selection Process 2019

The selection is done on the basis of the valid score in NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture). Candidates will need to get at least 80 marks out of 200 for B.Arch admissions.

TCE Madurai M.E/M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2019

 Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering and Technology from a recognized university or Institute and also must have appeared for TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test)/ GATE entrance tests. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an online national level examination conducted by IITs for admissions to post-graduate programs such as ME, M.Tech and direct Ph.D., offered by the higher education institutes across India.

TCE Madurai M.E/M.Tech Application Process 2019

For admission in M.E/M. Tech course the candidate register on the official website of GATE. The candidates who qualify GATE exam have to further participate in the counselling and seat allotment process conducted by COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) and CCMT (Centralised Counselling for MTech)

Candidate having valid TANCET score can also apply for M.Tech admissions. A graduate with 50% marks can appear in TANCET entrance exam in May 2019. TANCET Exam 2019 application process is online only. Candidates can apply for TANCET 2019 through filling-up the online application and uploading the same along with a good quality recent photograph. Anna University will open the registration window for TANCET Counselling in July 2019. The competent authority will prepare TANCET Rank Listsfor admission.

For TCE MCA admission, candidates should have a 10+2+3 degree pattern with core mathematics at 10+2 level and the candidate must have appeared for the TANCET exam.

TCE Madurai MCA Application Process 2019

Candidate having valid TANCET score can also apply for MCA admissions. A graduate with 50% marks can appear for the TANCET entrance exam in May 2019. TANCET Exam 2019 application process is online only. Candidates can apply for TANCET 2019 through filling-up the online application and uploading the same along with a good quality recent photograph. Anna University will open the registration window for TANCET Counselling in the month of July 2019. The competent authority will prepare TANCET Rank Lists for admission. The exam qualifiers will be eligible for admission to MCA.

TCE Madurai MCA Selection Process 2019

The selection is based on the candidate’s score in the TANCET exam conducted by the university.

For TCE MS (Research) /Ph.D. program candidates who are seeking to pursue this program they have to send application to Anna University the college. Anna University calls for applications for admission to MS (Research)/Ph.D. program twice in a year and the selection is done on the merit basis by the Anna University.
