The polytechnic courses admissions in the states of India are directed and managed by the concerned government authorities of the different states. The diploma in engineering or polytechnic courses is professional technical courses that have a full-time duration of 3 years. Haryana Polytechnic DET Admissions 2021
Haryana DET (Diploma Entrance Test) is a state-level admission procedure conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society or HSTES. The HSTES authority conducts examination for admissions in the diploma, pharmacy and lateral entry diploma courses.
Haryana Polytechnic DET Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process
The candidate has to first apply for sitting in the examination. Any candidate who has completed 10th level from any state or central board of education is considered eligible for sitting in the examinations. The candidate has to apply online for sitting in the entrance test of Hariyana DET. After the test is conducted, the HSTES council conducts DET counselling process. The students have to register online for appearing in the counselling process where the counsellors assign the college to the students for admissions depending on the score of the candidate in DET and his/her preference of college and course if available.
Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission 2021
The Directorate for Technical Education manages the polytechnic admission processes in Rajasthan. There is no entrance examination for the Polytechnic admissions in the state of Rajasthan. The norms are, however, are subject to change according to the directives of DTE anytime. Rajasthan Polytechnic DTE Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process
The minimum eligibility criteria for Rajasthan Polytechnic aspirants are that they have to pass the 10th level from any Rajasthan school under any recognised state or central board of education.
The candidates have to log in to www.hte.rajasthan.gov.in or www.dte.rajasthan.gov.in for registering themselves for the admission process of polytechnic courses. After the merit list is published, the students will have to register for the counselling and choice filling process. After the counselling, the students will be given a provincial admission in a college of his/her choice. The students who have not been allotted a college in the first counselling will be given another chance in the second counselling.
After the candidate has been allotted a college, the candidate has to report in the college physically for completing the admission process.
West Bengal Polytechnic JEXPO/VOLCET Admission 2021
The JEXPO (Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics West Bengal) or VOLCET exam is conducted by WBSCTE or West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. The examination is held to offer admissions to the various diploma courses in the streams of engineering, technology and architecture. West Bengal Polytechnic JEXPO/VOLCET Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
For admissions in the polytechnic colleges in West Bengal, the students who have completed 10th from any recognised board of education in the state or central level will be considered eligible to sit in the JEXPO entrance examinations. The candidates who have completed education in ITI Vocational Courses will have to sit for the VOLCET examination for admissions in the polytechnic colleges.
The candidate will have to visit the official website of the West Bengal State Council Of Technical & Vocational Education And Skill Development and register himself for the entrance examinations of JEXPO/VOLCET. After the exam, the candidates will have to register online for counselling, this counselling registration process and choice filling can also be done offline. After the student gets allotted to colleges in respective rounds, he/she will have to visit the college in person for completing the admission process.
Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2021
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra conducts the admission processes of the polytechnic courses and also manages the entrance examinations. Maharashtra Polytechnic DTE Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
The students who have passed 10th standard or SSC or equivalent level are eligible to apply for admissions in Maharashtra Polytechnic colleges. The candidate has to log into the official website of Maharashtra DTE for choice filling and submission of the CAP form for appearing in the CAP counselling by DTE Maharashtra. After the DTE Maharashtra publishes the CAP Round 1 Provincial Allotment notification, the aspirants who are selected will have to be present physically in the Admission Reporting Centre for a hassle-free admission process. Similarly, many rounds will follow respectively. Once the students are allocated a college, they must visit the college to complete the admission process.
Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2021
The Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Delhi conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) in the Delhi State for admissions in the polytechnic colleges in Delhi. The Delhi DTTE CET is an offline (pen and paper) examination.
Delhi Polytechnic DTTE CET Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure
Any student who has cleared his/her 10th level examination from any Delhi state recognised state or central education board and is a domicile of Delhi can appear in the CET examination for admissions in the polytechnic colleges of Delhi.
After the DTTE CET results are released, the DTTE publishes the norms of the counselling process for admissions. The students who want to get into the Delhi Polytechnic Colleges will have to register themselves with the test scores of CET and appear in the rounds of counselling processes until a college is allocated. The students will have to take part in the choice filling before that where they can select the institute and courses of their choice. After the college has been allocated, the candidates have to visit the college by themselves with all the prescribed documents for securing admissions.

Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2021
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala conducts polytechnic admission drive for the engineering diploma aspirants in the state. There is no entrance examination for the engineering diploma/polytechnic courses in Kerala. The Kerala DTE grants admissions in polytechnic courses in Kerala depending on the previous academic records
Kerala Polytechnic DTE Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedure
The students who have passed 10th level, SSLC or THSLC or similar level examination from Kerala government approved state or central board. The candidate has to register with the Kerala DTE website with the aggregate scored in the 10th level passing examination. The DTE will publish a provincial merit list and will conduct counselling on the basis of that. The students who have registered with the DTE will have to choose the college and the course of preference according to which, the seat allotment will be given. After the seats have been allotted, the students will have to visit the institute in person for completing the admission formalities.

Odisha Polytechnic Admission 2021
The State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha conducts the admission in the engineering diploma (polytechnic) colleges in the state every year. There is no entrance examination for the polytechnic courses in the state of Odisha. The admission is purely merit-based on the basis of the previous academic records. The admissions in the Odisha polytechnic courses are done by SAMS (Students Academic Management System).
Odisha Polytechnic SCTE&VT Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
The students who have passed 10th standard from the BSE (Board of Secondary Education), Odisha will be considered eligible for admissions in the Odisha polytechnic courses under the SCTE&VT Odisha. The students have to go to the SAMS +3 website to register themselves for the counselling process. The students have to register and furnish his/her academic records and fill the choice of college and submit the form. Under multiple phases of counselling and seat allotment, the student will be allocated a college for his polytechnic studies. The student then has to visit the college physically for document verification and admissions.

Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic AP POLYCET Admission 2021
The AP POLYCET exam is for admission into various polytechnic or diploma courses in Andhra Pradesh. These courses are open in the field of Diploma in Engineering & non-engineering streams as well. The exam is managed by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET). Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, popularly known as AP POLYCET is a state-level examination.
Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic AP POLYCET Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process
The student who is a domicile of Andhra Pradesh and has completed 10th level examinations from any state-recognised sate or central board of education can apply in the AP PolyCET examinations from Andhra Pradesh. The students will have to register themselves for the examination first and attempt the entrance examination. After the scores are out, students can register for AP PolyCET counselling process. The students will have to do the choice filling online where he/she can select the preferred college with their preferred courses. In the seat allotment process which is done in multiple rounds, students can get their preferred college with preferred courses. After the students have been allotted the courses, they will have to visit the college physically for completing the admission process.
