The application process for all the programmes offered by CDE AMU is the same. Find the step-by-step process below:

• Visit the official website of Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) or obtain the application form from the institute.
• Download the application form from the website. 
• Fill all the details mentioned in the CDE AMU application form by referring to the relevant documents. 
• Attach a Demand Draft of Rs 300 in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh along with other required documents.

Documents Required for CDE AMU Application Process 2020

Listed below are the documents required for CDE AMU Application Process 2020:

• Attested/notarized photocopies of the last qualifying exam
• Attested/notarized photocopies of statement of marks (degree certificate/mark sheet)
• Any Govt. provided ID Proof

CDE AMU BCom (Hons.) Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates applying for BCom (Hons.) at the Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) must meet the eligibility criteria given below:

• The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) in any stream from AMU or any other examination board recognised by AMU, Aligarh. 
• SSSC must be under the 10+2 pattern of education. 

Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) 10+2, in any stream of this University or an examination recognized by the University as its equivalent. However, there is no age bar for admission to B.A (Hons.) programme

"Graduation in any discipline recognized by AMU Any candidate who has passed B.A. or an equivalent degree with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of Aligarh Muslim University, or any other University or Institute in any state recognized by UGC or AICTE is eligible for admission. "

In order to be held eligible for Bachelor of Library and Information Science, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

• Must have cleared the qualifying examination of BA/B.Sc/B. Com from this university with not less than 50% marks from any institution recognized by AMU. OR
• Must have qualified BA/B.Sc/B. Com Examination having 45% marks with library experiences of 5 years in a recognized library. OR
• Must have passed BA / B.Sc. / B. Com Examination having 45% marks with a Master’s degree in Second Division from this University or from any other recognized University / Institution.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the certificate courses offered by CDE AMU must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below:

• Must have passed SSSC (+2) or its equivalent.
• Must have obtained the same from a board/university recognized by AMU. 

Diploma aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria given below:

• Must have a Certificate in Communicative English/B.A. Part-I from AMU or from any Institution recognized by AMU.

Candidates applying for AMU PG Diploma must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Must hold a  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any institution recognized by AMU.
• Must have the respective subject or equivalent while pursuing Bachelor’s degree. 

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below shall be eligible for the Master of Commerce (M.Com) offered by CDE AMU:

Must have passed B.Com from AMU or any other recognized university or institute in any state recognized by UGC or AICTE is eligible for admission.

CDE AMU BCom (Hons.)/BSc/BLis/PG Diploma/Certificate/Diploma/MCom Selection Process 2020

Selection of BCom (Hons.)/BSc/BLis/PG Diploma/Certificate/Diploma/MCom shall be done on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates willing to take up B.Sc  at the Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) must see if they meet the following criteria:

• The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) in Science stream from AMU or any other examination board recognised by AMU, Aligarh. 
• SSSC must be under the 10+2 pattern of education.
