Deshbandhu College admission 2023-24 depends upon the Normalised Scores as declared by National Testing Agency (NTA) in Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023. Students must register themselves on the CSAS portal which has been activated by DU since September 12, 2022. 

• The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will be implemented in 3 phases.  
• The first phase of Deshbandhu College admission process comprises students applying to Delhi University. 
• The second phase will be students selecting their preferred colleges and courses.
• In the third phase, students will be allotted seats. Upon confirmation, the admission process will be completed.
• The admissions will be based on the “Subject-based Normalised Scores” as declared by the NTA on students’ CUET Result 2023 scorecards. 
• Phase 2 of CSAS is from September 26, 2022, to October 10, 2022. Students are required to select their programmes and colleges in this phase.
• Students must note, that the CUET and DU guidelines advise students to select as many combinations and preferences of courses and colleges as possible. This will avoid any problems during seat allotment. 
• Both, CSAS DU phase 1 and phase 2 will remain open till October 10, 2022. 
• The program-specific merit score will be auto-calculated by the university.
• After the preference-filling phase of CSAS, the seat-allotment phase will begin. Here, seats will be allotted on a tentative basis. 
• Students will have to accept their seats within the mentioned deadlines or else they will be considered a “Decline” and passed on to the next deserving student.
• Apart from this, there will be a two-day window for reordering the college and course preferences of students. 
• There will also be a Mid-Entry window which will open after the second phase. This will be a one-time window as of now, but Delhi University may reopen it if need be. 
• The date of declaration of the first list of admissions will be declared by October 10, 2022. 

The candidate's previous academic merit and entrance exam results will be taken into account when determining admission to any Deshbandhu College course. For undergraduate programmes, the college accepts CUET exam scores, and for postgraduate programmes, it accepts DUET exam results. To enrol in any UG programme provided by Deshbandhu College Delhi, candidates must submit an application through the CUET website (cuet.samarth.ac.in). The CUET UG 2022 exam was administered in six phases between July 15 and August 30, 2022.

The NTA released the CUET UG 2022 results on September 16, 2022. The candidates' CUET exam results will be taken into consideration when the university creates a merit list. Candidates must also make the Deshbandhu College cutoff list in order to be accepted.

• Botanical Garden: The College has a well maintained Botanical Garden with diverse forms of plants. It has a well-maintained pond ecosystem apart from a variety of terrestrial flora. The Garden now has a thriving Mushroom culture unit, along with a Bonsai and a Japanese style Rock Garden. The Botanical Garden provides experimental material for class work and has a good nursery also.
• Aravalli Biodiversity Park: 3.75 Acres of the jungle have now been converted into a biodiversity park with nearly 2000 varieties of flora in various stages of growth. Special care has been taken to introduce four different varieties of grass. A 1000 billion years old rock was unearthed and has now been given the pride of the place. It belongs to the Delhi Aravalli range, part of the oldest rock formation on earth.The College is working towards reducing consumption of nonenvironment-friendly sources of power and expanding the solar power capacity.
