Aman Bhalla Polytechnic College (ABPC), Kotli Pathankot was established in 2005 under the aegis of Aman Bhalla Foundation with the aim of providing high-quality education in Engineering and Technology to the students of the country, especially from Punjab including in and around Pathankot i.e. J&k and Himachal Pradesh. This institute also has the vision to expand its activities in other streams of education like Management, Law, Nursing and paramedical sciences in the near future. The foundation aims to be the best education hub in the region. It is a self-supporting, self-financed and privately managed institute developed on a 10-acre piece of land. ABPC is situated on the main Pathankot-Amritsar highway about 10 km from Railway station, sauna. Academic knowledge is imparted by highly qualified and eminent teachers with the active support of other trained staff exposing the students to current industrial aspects through Industry-Institute interaction at appropriate levels. Currently, the Institute offers 3-year Diplomas in- Electronics & Communication Engg. (90 seats). Computer Science engineering (60 seats). Mechanical Engineering (240 seats) Information Technology (60 seats). Civil Engg. (120 seats). Automobile Engg.(60 seats) Electrical Engg.(90 seats) This institute is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh. It is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab and all courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Chandigarh.
Aman Bhalla Polytechnic College provides placement assistance to all its students. The dedicated placement cell regularly conducts grooming sessions of the students in areas like soft skills, interview facing skills, behavioral skills hereby making them industry-fit. In the recent years, the college has witnessed some well-known recruitment companies walking in and being invited for campus placements.
