ReportOverall: My interest in the subject of Computer Science led me to choose BTech CSE at Amity University Mumbai. The best aspect of my course curriculum was the practicals. We were able to learn various programming languages such as Java, C, C++, etc. I had Computer Science in class 12, so it was easier for me to grasp the concept overall. The campus was huge and had many facilities for both our academic and holistic development. Placements were good too and mostly depended on merit. The faculty members were very cordial.
Placement: Amity Mumbai offers excellent placements. The highest package offered was Rs 33 LPA. The average package was around Rs 5 LPA to Rs 6 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, etc. visited the campus for placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Amity Mumbai was modern. The library was fully stocked with various reading materials regarding the topics. The labs were well kept and tidy. WIFI was available 24x7 on the campus.
Faculty: All the teachers were extremely knowledgeable and PhD holders. We were prepared for the workplace and training was provided through practical classes, lab work, workshops and industry visits. The semester exams were of moderate difficulty.
Hostel: The hostels were nice and roomy. Healthy food was provided in the mess. There ware two mess on the premises. For medical requirements, there was a doctor and a designated medical room.
