FAQs on Amity University Mumbai Cutoff Trends

What is the lowest score accepted for MBA at Amity University Mumbai?
While there is no official "lowest score" announced by Amity University Mumbai, to have a strong chance of admission, candidates should aim for the minimum cutoff score. For example, the CAT cutoff is 70–75 percentile, XAT is 70–75 percentile, and NMAT is 180–200. Scores below these ranges may make admission challenging, but factors such as academic performance, GD/PI performance, and category (reserved or general) may influence the final decision.
Can I get admission to BTech at Amity University Mumbai with 70 percentile in JEE Main but 50% in 10+2?
Amity University Mumbai requires a minimum of 60% in 10+2 for BTech admission, so with 50% in your 10+2, you would not meet the eligibility criteria. However, if you have a 70 percentile in JEE Main, it shows you have strong performance in the entrance exam. You might be able to discuss your situation with the admissions team for any possible exceptions or other options, but meeting the 60% in 10+2 is essential for eligibility.
Can I get an MBA admission with a low CAT, XAT, or NMAT score at Amity University Mumbai?
While a low score in CAT, XAT, or NMAT may make it difficult to meet Amity University Mumbai’s expected cutoffs, a strong academic background, impressive performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, and good overall profile can still help you secure admission. It’s important to target higher scores in the entrance exams to increase your chances but also focus on excelling in other stages of the selection process.
Can I get admission to Amity University Mumbai MBA with a 250 score in NMAT?
A score of 250 in NMAT is below the expected range of 180–200 for Amity University Mumbai's MBA program. The cutoff for NMAT has remained consistent between 180–200 for the past few years, regardless of the MBA specialisation. With a score of 250, it is unlikely to meet the cutoff, but if you're aiming for admission, it's important to aim for a higher score. Good GD/PI performance could also play a role in your chances.
Can I get an MBA admission at Amity University Mumbai with 65 percentile in XAT?
A 65 percentile in XAT may not meet the expected cutoff of 70–75 percentile for general category candidates at Amity University Mumbai. The cutoff has been consistent for the past few years, and applicants are usually expected to meet the minimum 70 percentile. If you belong to a reserved category, there could be some relaxation in the cutoff, but it would still be challenging for general category applicants with a 65 percentile.
